I used the web site for carnival cruises yesterday to see how much a cruise would cost. I used a fake name cause I was affraid they would call me and well.. didnt take them long as I just got the call about 5 minutes ago. LOL what a bunch of retards!

It's one thing if you want a call - but it's outright harassment when they repeatedly call after being repeatedly told to stop calling. I have NO idea how they got my cell number but they keep calling. I appreciate the fact that the people calling are just doing their job but they're pretty damn stupid if they can't understand the words "STOP CALLING ME!" I've stopped being polite to them.

Ok people, let's get real. If you give out your home number, cell number, work number, grannie's number, or whatever on a web site or when you call  for pricing (Carnival Cruise Lines, for instance)-- YOU ARE PRETTY MUCH ASKING THEM FOR A FOLLOW UP CALL! HELLO!!!! You can't report something as harassing if you asked for it. If you register on Carnival's web site it tells you that you are signing up to have a Personal Vacation Planner call you. If you then later book a cruise online or with a travel agent or someone, your info will already have been given out as a new "lead". The person calling you is only doing their job, right. At least Carnival is giving jobs to Americans, and you are not getting a call from India. Just remember the person making the phone call probably has babies to feed at home. I think it is impressive that you gave your number and they followed up the very next day! In my opinion, that is great customer service, actually. OK, so you were already booked but you might have had questions about the reservation, or you might have told your friends about the cruise and now might need to book another cabin... don't think of it as a sleezy telemarketer, but instead think of it as follow up call. With all the companies in America going out of business its not wonder Carnival is being aggressive. They are just trying to stay "afoat" (pun intended) and go after the business. Remember: Everytime you log back into Carnival's web site, it will come up as a recurrent lead and the person's job is to give another follow up call. SOLUTION: just L@@K at the web site, but don't "log in". Otherwise, you will get a call. And if you buy something online or over the phone, don't give out your work number as a contact number if you don't want to be contacted there...

I made the mistake of booking a cruise on Carnival & giving them my work phone number.  They started telemarketing calls the very next day!  I told them to stop calling, yet they still call.

I just got a call from 772-409-2270.  I did the cell phone thing to block tele-marketers months ago.  I do not want them to keep calling me.  How would I make it stop?

Yes ,it's from Carnival Cruise. I looked up prices carnivalcruise.com online and it asked for a number, I put my cell and now they won't stop calling.

Got a call from 772-409-2270 and it showed up on my phone bill!!  Thank goodness I don't pay for long distance.  We always let the answering machine get this and it still showed up on the bill.  Weird.

I got a call from that number today. It should be somebody from Carnival Cruises.

I did a google search.  Area code 772 is Fort Pierce, Florida.

Strange, since I am in California.

so you know, there are two big call centers in this area i know of, maybe a fourth as well. Aegis, Convergys, Medical Data, fourth is unknown. hope it helps
