I did not receive a call from 772-882-0799 but I did receive calls from Jay Fabricant from the following two other numbers

 646-377-4435 and 772 501-0300

The scam was the same, front $398.00 to have him deliver a certified Wells Fargo check of $ 35,400 on the 646 area code number and $ 35,400 on the 772 area code number. It was the same transaction but reflected two different sale prices from two different buyers. In two weeks he could not keep his facts straight or remember that I called him on two previous occassions. His notary, Clifford Givens, could barely speak, let alone pass an exam requiring him to answer any questions other than spelling his name correctly. He spelled it 3 times for me to ensure that Western Union had the correct spelling for his cash wire transfer  He may still be waiting at the Vero Beach Western Union office for that wire.

Thank you. I found you while trying to google Mr. Fabriknt??

The U S Notary service called to inform me that I had a 32 page contract and a certified check for        $ 32,000 pending delivery.  The contract and check related to the sale of my timeshare in Maui. The U S Notary service directed me to Jay Fabricant (772) 501-0300. They stated that he was the attorney on the contract and he needed to authorize the delivery of the package.

Jay confirmed that Jack and Lindsay Meyers saw my ad and requested that he draw up the contract and process the sale . They gave him the check for  $ 35,400, approximately double my asking price. Jay requested $ 400.00 for the title search and notary fees. He directed me to hte nearest Western Union office to forward the payment. Then I was to contact his Notary Clifford Zivens (99) (407) 545-1529, with the authorization code.

On reciept of the code, my check would be delivered within 48hrs.  He is currently awaiting my call with the code. My search did find an office on Stirling that he gave me. I wonder if he "fabricated" that location.

Anyway, I thought you would appreciate knowing you helped someone out.

This attorney wanted $999 to close a timeshare points sale also ask for $499 for a delivery of closing papers. I refused the $999 request and put the $499 on Master Card.  My master card with Bank of America will get the $499 credited back to my account if he charges it to me ...which i questioable at this time.  Suggestion: Always put your "Up front payments  on your credit card never use a banks Cashier Check...this is like cash and cannot be recovered .

I too was scammed by this guy.  He sounded really convincing and I even looked up his law firm on line.  It is all a spoof.  Beware of him!
I just got scammed out of another $500.

Watch out for this guy. His name is Jay Fabrikant of Ft. Lauderdale,FL. He claims to be a real estate attorney who is working alongside a bogus notary, who called us claiming to be from Chicagoland, but the notary's nonworking phone # he gave us is out of Florida. The notary called us congratulating us on the sale of our Timeshare in Vegas claiming he had a check for us and the buyers "attorney" was Jay Fabrikant who was demanding a fee before he would give us the notary's info. The guy claiming to be a notary gave us a notary badge # that belongs to a real notary in Chicago, who is a woman. Jay Fabrikant wanted us to do a transaction thru Western Union. If our Timeshare sold, our agent would call us. Our agent happens to represent Stroman Realty out of Conroe,TX.  We believe Stroman is bogus too. See more information by looking up the phone #561-255-4747. It belongs to the fake notary. You will see our comment about him. There is a Jay Fabrikant law office that I found when I googled him. I'm not sure if he is real or if someone is using his name fraudulently. BE CAREFUL AND DON'T PAY ANY UP FRONT FEES.  ASK A TON OF QUESTIONS. QUESTION EVERYTHING, BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE QUESTIONS THEY CAN'T ANSWER!
