it's the latest scam number!

asked me about my credit cards, when we asked him who he asked for.. he said never mind and hung up.

Just received a call from this number ... They said they could help us with our credit card interest rate ... I asked them how many cards we had and he said that we had five .. I told him I wanted off of their calling list since we have no need to discuss credit card interest rates with them ... He said to give him two minutes and we would be off of the list.  While I sat there, I could tell I was being put on hold and then off hold ... on hold, off hold .. This went on for about 3 minutes.  Finally I said "Hello" and someone came back and asked if I was ready to talk about my credit card interest rate.  I told him that didn't need to discuss anything with him since the other guy I was speaking to was taking our number off of the calling list.  He insisted that we talk about interest rates.  When I asked HIM how many credit cards I had, he told me that his paperwork said seven credit cards.  I then advised him that this was the second call of this nature today and that I would be reporting him if I get one more call from this number since we are on the "Do Not Call" listing.  He started to say that he had the right to call our number since we had had dealings with credit cards in the past .. I asked to speak with his supervisor and then he hung up.

Yes. I was totally scammed by them.  I was suspicious the whole time on the telephone with them, but still gave them some of my info.  Their deal:  They call saying they are from financial card services for master card and visa, and that based on my credit report I've been selected for a reduction in my interest rate because I've paid on time for the last six months.  Very persistent not rude -- official sounding, responded to all my concerns with confidence - other calls occurring in the background. I finally listened to my gut and told them this was a scam and hung up, but not before I had stupidly given them some info. They then called back five times from an "unknown" number.

I told them I was on the do not call list and a female told me Fu*k off you a-hole and hung up on me. What a scam

Got a call from the same place today,and several times over the past few months.  The recording said "Rachel from Credit Card Services."  A guy with an Indian accent who identified himself as "Mark" spoke with me.  I wanted not to receive any more calls from this outfit so I listened a minute or two and politely told him I'm on the Do Not Call list.  He immediately launched into the most obscene, sexually explicit cursing of me, that I'm busy f---ing my wife and why don't suck his ----   I was so astounded but decided to get more info if I could.  "You must absolutely hate your job," I said,and he replied he loves it because he rips people off, scams them.  These were his (angry) words.  He said the number for me to call back is 1-800-739-8255. Later in the call he wanted to make sure I got the number correctly, and repeated it twice more.  I haven't called it but I doubt it is genuine. I asked his company and he said "Financial Services," "Cardholder Services" "Card Services," repeating one after the other, mentioning both Visa and MC.  Then he told me about "my" Visa card with Chase Bank (which I do not have), starting with 4417 and ending in 7407.  (I was writing this all down.  I asked him for the whole number and said, "Are you crazy..." as if that would breach some kind of confidentiality.  I continued talking, politely despite all of this, and he said in spite, that  I'd see a charge of $790 on my credit card account.  (Let's see if I see it on any such account -- it'll be proof of the authors of the scam).  He began rattling off very fast, as if reading, "Do you consent to this being recorded?" No, I said.  "Do you consent to a charge of $790 to your card..." etc.  In this apparent script I heard him refer to financial management services under Credit Account Resources and asked him to repeat that part, so this may be, or may include, the name of the actual company that is trying to rip people off through this process.  I asked where he is, and he said Orlando, FL, and they also have offices in Atlanta, Dallas, and other places -- 7 in all, he said.  Then he talked as if he now had a recording of me consenting to whatever he was reading, which, if really did record it,will only hurt him and will show my adamant "NO" to each of his questions.  He closed with more obscenities about sexual acts and the words that "now I'll do some shopping on your money."  Then, "You are such a dumb a**, you f---ing Americans," and he hung up.  I wonder if he was even calling from within the US.  In the background were many other officious sounding voices, the kind of thing you hear when you're talking to a credit card company and know there are probably a dozen other people in the room all talking to people on the phone.

  No doubt this is NOT legitimate in any kind of way, and the people behind it are VERY daring, not swayed in the least by anything that people have said to them so far.  This was at least my third, maybe fourth, call from these people in a few months.  That others are having a similar experience makes me hopeful that authorities will catch up with them and end such dirty practices.

I asked them to take me off the list and then they party line me with the boss who does not know In on the line. He is telling the operator...  F*** them, do not take them off the list

Well, they locked onto my phone number.
3 calls today ... and no one there when I answered.

Yeah they called me also said i had to call a 1-800--739-8255 to be removed it was a sexline, i was fuming and scammed of course.

who is this call from???  They call me at least once a week.

The recording said they'd lower interest rates on my credit card, I pushed 9 to speak with a person, I asked the name of the company and was told it is the Interest Rate Company.  Then I stated that I have asked before to be put on the do not call list and "Richard" told me he "could give a F@#k about my do not call list". I thanked him for remaining polite and hung up.

Called me yesterday afternoon (SUNDAY) ? Did not leave message though. It's gotten so bad I just unplug my phone from the wall and just use my cell phone. One thing I can say I will NEVER, EVER, EVER answer. Hee Hee Hee :-)

I recieved a phone call from this company stating they were a  credit card consolidation company,
man that I was speaking to started say volgar explicit thing to me that was very inapropriate I handed the phone to my husband and he said the same thing to my husband also.  I only was asking him to remove my number from his list and he refused to do so.  Using alot of profanity and obsenities!

that was the same guy i talked to. i asked to get put on the do not call list and he said no  only if i have sex with him said he was mark wallace  i told him he had an Indian accent  and he kept saying im a christian im a christian.... well he sure didn't use language like he was!

They called me and wanted to reduce my interest rates on my credit cards. I told them I like high rates and hung up before they could say anything.

Keep calling and calling - I HAVE NO CREDIT CARDS!!!!!!  I have repeatedly told them to stop calling.

The above number calls all hours of the day and no one is on the other end.

Got a call from this number today.  I played along and listened to the first 10 seconds of their b.s.  I replied to the woman  "I like my high interest rate cards"  LOL  She hung up.  

I get a lot of calls like this often.  Unknown Name/Unknown Number and a lot of 800 and 866 numbers that don't show any name on the caller id.  I used to get really pissed off but then I realized how short and precious life really is.  I don't let these people bother me anymore.  They are scum and I highly doubt anyone takes them seriously.  I do feel sorry for people who have young children and babies who nap during the day and that darn phone rings and wakes the babies up.  But maybe in this day and age of caller id and cell phones, people with babies can turn the phones off for an hour or so during nap time and rely on caller id to call people back who may have called when the phone was off.

Don't get made at the scammers.  They obviously have no life and your life is much better than theirs in the first place.

Scumbags called twice. I told them I was on the do not call list and they said tough #$@t and hung up.2nd call I asked for a manager and she said their company is called Account Lund. No such business registered in the US. SCAMMERS

Just rec'd. my first call. Didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I'm so sick of these types of b.s. phone calls! Number just says "Cell Phone" from IL.

Rachel calls every month or so.  Finally, i pressed 9 to speak about the service and asked what I need to do to be removed from their list.  They hung up.  Does anyone know how I can report them to the government etc or get them on the no call list.  Thanks.

Tonight I also got a call to reduce my interest rate. He knew the first 4 digits but not the last 4. I told him I pay every month on time so I didn't need to reduce my interest, then he said "go to hell!" I still called my credit card to report this!

phone number is spoofed.... "card holder services" is who they claim they are, number shows up as a cell number to encourage you to pick up. They call CONSTANTLY and repeatedly, and get belligerent when you ask them not to call anymore. I told them the call was being recorded, which usually gets an instant disconnect, and asked for a supervisor... that got them to hang up on me.

Do not call list does not work when folks just hide behind fake numbers. I have reported them before and filed a complaint with the FTC. I try to play along enough to get a real phone number out of them (in case we are disconnected). Parasites.

Got 2 calls today on from 646-313-3799 said he was officer Sam something looking for someone else, looked that # up scam also.
Now this on says Cell Phone IL on caller ID, How do they get the # we are on do not call list also. This one also didn't leave message on recorder.

They wanted to lower my credit card interest rate to 6.99%I told them to remove me from their list and they said that would cancel all my cards.I then told them I wanted to continue paying high interest rates and the caller said f**k you and hung up!
