I just got a call to my cellphone from this number. They identified themselves as debt collectors, and identified the amount, but would not tell me where the bill originated. I'm sorry, but I'm not handing money over to someone via phone when I have no evidence that the debt is real.

Whether scam or somehow legitimate it needs to be stopped. This entity has been pestering me for a month. I think I'll answer, tell it they caught me away from my desk and to call me back on another number, then give them the number of somebody else I don't like.

ATG Credit LLC called me about a bill, at first I did not know what was going on, a company I bought items from at least 5 to 7 years ago called Enhancing mind body and spirit. I asked the company to not send anymore of their products I paid off what I had and never heard from them again till now, now I received the call from ATG Cedit, but get this they send me a bill that says I owe $0.00 on the bill and I must pay it but they stated on the phone call I owe $64 something is not right, I would pay the original company if they called me no problem,but I know I do not owe this debt and this company has been under fire before, for shady dealings. Be careful of scams!

I just got a call from this number for my husband and yes we have a  debt with ctu ( colorado tech university ) and right now my husband is on military orders right now and cant obviously talk to them so i have to but they wont give me any info except for how much the debt is for and when is a good time to call back. so i called ctu and asked them if our debt is with an agency and they told me no its still here with us.  i dont see your debt being collections so i am not sure if these people are real or scam.

This company with this same number just called me insisting they were the Police and that they repoed my car and wanted to know where to tow it for my attention! REALLY? I hope they are reading this because they were towing someone elses car as I do not even OWN a car!!! Stupid Mutherfu%$#rs!!!

Of ALL the comments I've seen online about this company, ONLY the BBB gives them a positive rating.  The other comments plainly expose their blatant VIOLATION OF THE FDCPA.  It seems they buy TIME-BARRED debt and try to collect it, but I'm not 100% sure about that.  Many posts have concerned the person requesting a Debt Validation Letter and being refused.

NO idea HOW (BBB doesn?t have the complaint details so a person can judge for themselves), but the BBB has given these people an A+ rating (of course, they?re accredited with the BBB).

1st wrong Brian said they were ATT not ATG. this so called debt collector is linked to the company CFD/CFI or just got their idea from them. they call with false info debts that don't exist and called me asking for a woman. the guy Brian was convinced since i wouldnt say who i was that i was this woman lol. there's not many woman out there with a mans voice deep like mine. the jerk made a threat and when i told him he was being recorded he said i was not allowed to do it. to reconfirm i looked up MO laws and its does state i have the right to record all of my calls without the knowledge or permission of the other person on the line just as long as 1 party knows they are being recorded (that includes me or you) it is 100% legal and can be used in a court of law. since there was a threat made i don't think anyone will care wtf the laws are in Illinois they called Missouri and its our right. oh he told me i don't have the right to dodge calls or ignore him omg lmfao wow what are they the mob. dont give them your info hell don't answer they way they conduct them selves its most definitely a scam like CFD/CFI they take your money add fees then wipe your account clean.

call came on my cell. didn't answer it & they didn't leave a message. based on the other comments on here, i blocked the number on my phone.

I just got a call from this number and since I was sleeping from being sick, probably how I got the medical bill to begin with, my 11 year daughter, for whom you can tell is very little by listening to her on the phone, was trying to get information from the lady on the line of who she was and where she is from to try and take a message for me and THEY TOLD MY LITTLE GIRL OFF!!!!!  Who does that?  Starting with "IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" and using abusive tones and languages with her and MADE MY LITTLE GIRL CRY FOR TRYING TO TAKE A MESSAGE FOR ME.  So help me God, if she calls here again, I will have my daughter answer again - but then I am reporting to FCC and suing the crap out of them.  Who gets away with yelling at little kids.  That person doesn't deserve a job in this hurting economy.  TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!

ATG credit has been calling me for at least six months leaving a message for "Chas Ferguson"  I don't know this guy, don't want to know this guy, I just want his creditor to quit calling ME.  Even when I do as instructed by pressing "2" indicating I am not "Chas Ferguson" the phone calls continue.  I am even on the no call list and have had my current number for almost 10 years, so why can't they figure out they have the wrong number?  As you can see my name is not even remotely the same as "Chas Ferguson".

I pulled my credit report this place came up on it saying I owed them for something which I don't ? So they must be scamming money from a lot of people not me I'm not falling for It!!!!!!!!!

My question is, "if I tell them send me the dept validation letter by mail then they will know my current address where I have live for the past 27 years ( the address of the dept is somewhere else and the dept was incurred in 2007). So I guess the dept validation will go back to address the dept collectors have and this thing just keeps on going round and round. I mean I hate to give them my address because they only have a name and a phone number with an address where I have never lived. Does this make sense because then they will change their address to match my name and phone number and continue with this scam.

I have received a couple of calls from these people, I called twice to let them know this is a wrong number after being spoken to very rudely and told they are not in the customer service business and hung up on, I called back to speak to a supervisor. I was then told that they would not bother a supervisor for such nonsense as this!!!  What a company!!!

Did you validate the debt to determine they had the right to collect it? Any can get a list and access to LexusNexus and start making phone calls but they do not have a legal right to collect it.


Protect your rights people. Lookup the FDCPA on line.

Many collectors have 'failed themselves'.

Before you give them any money - tell them they must send you a debt validation letter, proving that you owe the debt and that THEY are entitled to collect this in your state!  There are too many scammers going around saying people owe this and that.  They should send the debt validation letter via MAIL (not email or fax) showing who the original creditor is, how much you owe, last date paid, and also proof that they can collect this debt in your state.  I would also ask them for a copy of the original contract you signed with the original creditor, showing your signature.  NEVER pay money to someone who cannot prove you owe a debt!

Try to find their address on line. Search for cease communications letters on line. Send them the letter with a return receipt. Place one of the return strips on the letter to match it to the green card you will receive after the letter is delivered.

Wait for them to violate the FDCPA (they will!) then search for a NACA attorney. Most will take the case with no up-front payment. They will use about 40% of the money you will receive when these idiots lose their case due to FDCPA violations. If you want to use the payment to clear the debt with original creditor, do so. It is better than paying these bloodsuckers....

so did i i tried talking to them but they are really rude im trying to resolve this bill so if it happens to be 3 years but i'm trying to pay they wont send me a statement  the guy ask me so how are you planning to resolve this matter i said i'll 25-- 30 dollars what i can and he yelled at me so i hung up ignorant people

They have continually called my home phone number, on a daily basis, for this past year, asking for a person who never has resided here , nor having permission to use  my home phone, I have no Idea who this person is, and these phone calls are a form of daily harrassment, and should stop.
