Received v/m call from Bill at 312-962-0230 on my new land line phone. Same baloney I won a Lincoln Nav. and they left a number to call 800-301-3436. So I thought I would play with them a little to see how they liked it. I gave a false name when I called back and the girl who answered the call said they had my entry. I them told them I never
entered and they could not have my entry.I then told her it was a fake name. I them told her to stop scamming people
and that I would call the FBI and then slammed the phone in
her ear.

Yesterday, October 20th, we received a call from "Bill at the Prize Distribution Center" regarding a contest we entered a "month or two ago" for a Lincoln Navigator. He did not say we won, but he did say "congratulations" leading someone to believe that they won the vehicle. The number was 800-996-0081. I am a big skeptic when calls like this come in, but I wanted to call and hear what their ploy was. No one answered last night. Beware!
Jerry 2008-10-14 01:47:59 Unknown
I called them--somebody called Terry answered saying that there is only one person who will win the Lincoln. I asked her if she can let me know the name of the person who had won this earlier!!!!She waited and said that she doesnt know but will get back with me after checking with her Boss-----sure!!!!

Lincoln Navigator contest. Call "Bill Russell" at 1-866-514-7311. Was voicemail that asked to leave my name and phone number and would receive a return call in 5 minutes as it is "time sensitive."
Angie Roberts 2008-08-13 23:35:14 Unknown
Received a voice mail at 6:13 on 8/13/2008 stating I had won a Lincoln Navigator and the contest was officially over Congratulations. Asked that I call Christy at 1-800-536-9567. Caller ID showed 312-698-8853. Callers name was John or Shawn from Price Distribution Center.

I received a message on my cell phone around 3 o'clock today. The call was from 1-773-385-9662 and showed up as an Illinois call. It was a woman who identified herself as Christine Ali. She said she was calling for "my name" at "my address" with an email address of "my email". She was calling to let me know that I had entered a contest online to win a Lincoln Navigator and other prizes. The contest was now closed and my claim number had been chosen as a winner. Congratulations. She then said that I need to call back at 1-866-516-7731 and speak to the prize director to claim my prize. She said that it was very important that I call back as soon as possible because it was time sensitive. I then called the number she left me and I received a voice recording of a man named Bill Russell. He said that if I was calling to claim a prize that I needed to leave a message with a direct line to return the call as it was time sensitive. He also said he would return my call within five minutes as he was away from his desk. He never returned my call so I went online to google contests to win a Lincoln Navigator that had ended recently because I couldn't remember entering a contest. I of course came across this site and was amazed. I don't understand the point of the phone call and message.....What are they trying to do? Like I don't get enough telemarketers, etc. calling on my home phone....now I have to deal with it on my cell? Sigh.

Similar to other postings a recorded message on my answering machine saying I had won a Lincoln Navigator and to call 1-800-536-9567 and ask for Christie McCall (sp?). When I called the number, a recording advised that Christie was not available and to leave my name and phone number. I did not and googled scams.
Gary 2008-07-25 14:36:28 Unknown
Same as above;caller stated my entry form was selected for a contest to win a Linclon Navigator. I thought it was a load of crap as it obviously is. I did call back and leave my name. I guess this Lincoln Navigator doesn't exist. Sounds like a job for Date Line NBC to look into it and prosicute these A holes.

This is the same script with the call I recieved..hayy! and I actually thought my tuition problem was solved. sigh*

I received the same message just today. I called the 1800-996-0081 number that he left and I got an answering machine. The caller's name was Bill of Price Distribution.

-I received two seperate phone calls. The first from 865-329-7871 which is a TN number the second from 708-469-6554. Both messages were the same regarding a winning entry for a Lincoln Navigator. I wish I had googled the numbers first. I called back and left my name and number because I really had entered a contest on line. I later realized it was for a different vehicle.

Exactly. Why would crooks worry about do not call registry listing? Think about it folks.

Received an automated call stating that I had won a 2007 Lincoln Navigator asking me to call 1-800-428-6619 and ask for Terrance White. Also stated that it was a time sensative issue. I didn't call it though, decided to google the number, glad I did, and came across this. My number is also on the do not call list. Funny how that program just doesn't work.

Received the following message on my cell phone: "Hi, this is Bill with the Prize Distribution Center. Calling in regards to the contest you entered some time back in the last couple of months to win the 2007 Lincoln Navigator. Contest is officially over and we are looking at your entry form here, so we have good news for you. So, congratulations! What we need you to do is give us a buzz back at 1-800-996-0081. Again, that's 1-800-996-0081. Just ask for Bill and congratulations."
The number they called FROM was 312-962-0230, which is registered to a Chicago Illinois residence according to a reverse phone search. I called the 800# and a female answered with "Prize Distribution Center. How may I direct your call?". I said, "I need to talk to PHIL." Her response, "You need Bill? Just a second, please hold..."

Message left for me a week ago, same stuff I won a 1 year old Lincoln. Left the number of 800-428-6619. Always a recording, except one time spoke to Paul. He said he had another caller on hold and would call me back in 10 mins, never did.
