Never a message, but listens to my v/m every time and leaves no message. Left Message when I changed my vm to say, "And if this is AIU University, stop spamming my phone or I will report you to the FTC"

Then they started leaving messages which said I requested their services and I had better answer the phone, or else.

They use several numbers:
1-773-272-7000
1-877-226-7847
1-877-628-3617

Most people don't but basically if you have applied for jobs recently whether you are unemployed or just looking for a better job then there are a myriad of different processes and hoops that they have you jump through to use these online application processes. Well some are highly deceiving and make you think that it is essential for the application process when in actuality what you are doing is giving the rights for these University sales people to contact you at this contact information you are providing. Then there are other application processes who just sell your contact information to these places as a means of income. They already have more people than they can deal with so they are happy to get some value out of them. It is amazing what we have created with this menagerie of greed where even the people who you apply for jobs to are using deception to make their money. Some of them, in fact, never had any intention to hire anyone for the positions that they are advertising. Their entire purpose is to promote the idea that they are a growing business to the public investor. Well what better way than promote the idea that you are currently hiring employees? Yet, when it actually comes down to the numbers, very few of the people they interview, much less the number of people who applied, ever get considered for hiring because they don't wish to increase their expenses in that way in such an unstable economic situation. So, ironically, if you are looking for better employment opportunities it is hard to avoid this kind of situation. I know because I have had excessive calls from all kinds of Universities and Educational sales reps asking me if I have ever considered education as an alternative to get better job opportunities. Well I tell them, I just finished my MBA in Healthcare Administration and I still can't get a job... so what good does it do? Well they always want to claim their educational opportunity is better than the last but in the end it is all a lie! Our educational system has turned into a scam whose purpose is to merely indoctrinate us with the ideas that those people who control the system by keeping status quo have funded all the programs to get that influence. That influence is used from political campaigns to educational programs that teach people what they want people to accept and believe to keep status quo in our existing society. All this is in the effort of the wealthy-elite to maintain control over our existing markets through the maintenance of status quo. But it is a failure of human civilization. The way we eliminate this problem is by creating a newly founded society. This would be a society with a resource-based economy where people aren't motivated through profit but are motivated through an effort to provide cheap, abundant resources for purposes of providing the needs for all members of society to promote their ability to become the best they can be. This then creates a further abundance of cooperative services and efforts whose purpose, thereagain, is not to acquire more profit but to provide for the needs of all members of society in the most efficient means possible to promote the betterment of all mankind. By creating this kind of newly founded society, it allows humanity to eliminate the redudancy that we see prematurely driving us into our graves in these highly competitive markets we have created. It allows the motivated purpose to become more focused on higher qualities, integrity, and truth as opposed to requiring further deception, manipulation, and oppression of our fellow members of society. All it takes is for a few people like yourself who are fed up with our existing system and who are willing to promote the founding of a new type of market (e.g. not profit-based but resource-based). This then remotivates the purpose of our business efforts to a point that it allows for an institutionalization of peace as opposed to our existing institutionalization of violence that we see growing before our very eyes on a day-to-day basis. This is why we have to constantly go to war in foreign countries to secure our existing markets. It isn't because we have terrorist who arbitrarily fly planes into our buildings but it is because we have oppressed the people of the world in an effort to control those international markets that we maintain in their countries at the betterment of the few and expense of the many. Well this infuriates those many people and this fury is what we see being expressed through the rise of overt violence in the forms of terrorism, crime, and war. These forms of overt violence are expressions that were stimulated and created on levels of structural and spiritual violence in this institutionalization of violence that we have created out of our society. The time has come to change this so that all people, including you and me, can live more comfortable lives in a society that cooperatively supports their ability to provide for their needs instead of constantly trying to competitively exploit, manipulate, and oppress those efforts because the interfere or contradict the efforts of another individual. Support our efforts, my friend, because it is people like you and me who can make the difference through the creation of a newly founded society to promote the betterment of all mankind. Research this concept of an Institutionalization of Peace through organizations like: Institute on World Problems (IOWP) and the World Constitution and Parliament Association (WCPA).

I've gotten 5 calls from various numbers and area codes, but each one tied to online university after I was stupid enough to fill out information...their promising $10,000 win...ha!
What was I smoking?
But how crazy they are desperatly trying to sell me, a 60 yr old disabled lady $100,000 online education.
I spent 20 minutes answering her stupid questions after recieving one call last week...
I just pulled out all sorts BS answers....going in circles for 20 minutes!
Hey...I've got nothing better to do and I'll just have fun pulling their chains
and giving them crazy answers...then telling them I just killed my neighbors
and my BFF's in prison...and I'm scam artist...
they'll get savy one of these days and spending hours on phone with crazy lady (me)...
they'll figure isn't worth their time!
You should hear what I say to telemarketers for septic tanks...I tell them yes, is old and leaks
but I just let the $hit leak out all over my garden...ask them "Would you like some tomatoes?"
They have funny taste...kinda like $hit...do you think its the septic tank stuff???
They always hang up on me...never call back!
One time was a woman...I accused her of having affair with my husband...
then go round and round with them...weeee!
Hey...we can turn the tables on these folks...just have fun!
Pretty soon, you'll be begging them to call you! entertain your friends with what you've recorded!
Have fun!

When the University Of Phoenix or any of the other online colleges keep calling you, it makes them seem desperate for money.  It actually kind of scares me away from them.

This was a missed call twice, then when I finally answered it was "may I speak with Randy".  I called it back the 2nd missed time and the recording (though I only partially paid attention) said it was a university in Kansas.

Just received a call from *a different number* but THE SAME GUY again asking for Randy. I was wrong about Kansas ... it was Kaplan University on the new number that called - but apparently it's a call center environment and they call from different designated area codes. The other number is 561-981-7600. I busted him by telling him that he was the same guy from a whole different number & area code and to stop calling me, and all he said was "thanks". We'll see. Now I'm going to figure out how to block those numbers.

I just received a call from this number. First checked the area code to see it was from Chicago area IL. Then found this forum. One of their representatives left me a voicemail stating that they were calling to speak with me about me wanting to return to school since I was doing some research. I had previously checked into some online schools but I never give out my cell phone number. I suppose I may have slipped and gave it out once though. So far they've only called once, if they call again, they'll get blessed out. The lady left a callback number for me: 1-773-272-7214. So maybe those of you having repeated trouble could use that number to reach them and tell them not to call again.
