Actually, they don't have an A rating on BBB.  They changed their name to Vandell to avoid receiving a low rating.  They will change it again in 6-8 months.

Don't know who this is. They call several times a day. If they call @ 2am, I will not hesitate to hire a lawyer, and go after them. Another phone website has people who say they called @ 2am and 3am. IF someone calls at that hour, it's illegal, and punishable by law. I know if my phone rings at that time, I think something's wrong with a friend or family member.  Whoever this is needs to  get in a lot of trouble for this crap!  It comes up as: CHICGOZN07 IL on the caller ID. They've never left a msg.

I just got that call myself, tony, I believe. He did leave a message, I just wanted everyone to know they are using a different # now. 708-248-7314.  I found out there calling from Wheeling, Illinois.

The other day I got a call from Mitchell Commincation group saying that I had won one of their top $ major prizes, so I had a phone rep. give me the details on what i had to do and where I had to go to pick up the prize. It turns out that all I had to do was bring my wife over to the next town over, sit for an hour and a half of them talking about the history of their company and what they are doing today as a travel agency then lo and behold we were given a lottery style scratch off ticket that was the winning ticket for athe brand new 2010 Ford Expedition! We took it to the nearest car auction and sold it for $20,000! And donated $10,000 to charity. I encourage anyone who gets a call from Mitchell Communication Group to take them up on their offer. 90 minutes is a fair trade for a Car, a Vacation, or some electronics. If you don't want to pay the taxes on these items donate them to charity or sell them. Believe me after you attend one of these events you will want to go back for more.

Just who do you think is the BBB? Anyone can be a member. It is comprises of business people, shady ones included. So of course they will have an A rating

I got a call from them at 8:23AM EST. They sounded very frustrated, stating they have tried contacting be numerious times and this is their last attempt (this is the first time I have received a call from them). They stated that I had won a car and would receive one of four prizes. They stated that I filled out an entry form and it would be in my best interest to call them back as soon as possible. Sounded like a scam so did a reverse look up on their phone number came up with Mitchell's Communication Group, but could not find a website for this company in IL.  Thanks for sharing your experiences with this company.

I have been getting this call for months.  Every time he leaves a message saying its the last time he's going to call me.  I WISH.  I called the number he left, 877 279 3459, x 243, and it was out of service.  I called the number on caller ID, 773 288 8091, and it was constantly busy.  So, thank you to the person above with the BBB rating, I called and gave them a piece of my mind.  The funny part is that they said they were being courteous to me, and that I should be courteous to them.  I reminded them that constantly calling someone's house unsolicited is not courteous.   Outcome: they're going to "put me on the do not call".  We'll see.  I'm going now to the BBB.  
By the way, I let them know that there are slews of people on the internet as annoyed as I am.  They stated they had an A rating on BBB, to which I replied that I could read the complaints I was looking at in front of me....still didn't reach the guy.

Tony from Mitchell Group just left a message to tell me I won an awesome prize!  I never win anything and I am broke, so my prayers could not have been answered at a better time!  I can't wait to call Tony... my new guardian angel.  I wonder what the prize is?  I hope it's a new Toyota, those are great cars.  I bet I could sell it and make a lot of money.  My kids were so excited when I told them.  I said it was Santa that called and he is going to come over to our house after all.  I just can't let my ex-wife find out, you know, because of her problems and all.  Anyway, I'll let everyone know how it turns out... unless I'm too busy counting my money!!!

Same thing here.  2nd phone call in a month on Saturday 2/6/2010 from 773-288-8169, yep, i won an automobile, one of 4 top prizes & to return call to 877-279-3457 ext. 109 TONY.

Call comes in on a Saturday morning 8:59A from a lady named "Toni" saying I won one of 4 top major prizes that I would have signed up for in the past 18 months at the ________ Civic Center...  Not a telemarketer, not a cold sales call...This will be the final and only call you will receive...Please call back at toll free 877-279-3457 x109.  Again this is Toni.

I finally figured that Mitchell's Commu was Communications Group LLC Chicago< IL.

My wife was given an 800 number (877-279-3457) to call them back to get a confirmation number for one of three prizes. Then they sent an email to confirm our reservation to listen to their "unique" travel/vacation program in a city an hour away. We are not into that and wouldn't go to them if we were. Googling Mitchell Communications gives you information on an Australian company that may be legit, and a company in Chicago that BBB seems dubious of. I am replying to their email (Properties feature of OE gives m.c.g_llc@sbcglobal.net as their email address) telling them we are not interested and won't be attending. If we were adventurous, we'd go to the meeting with a hidden camera and microphone, then put the results on YouTube.

we just had a call at 8:30 am 11/21/09.  They claimed we won a price too, on the message they left. They claim we entered a contest and that they are aware of the do-not-call list.

They called my elderly mother's house. She never answers the phone unless she knows the caller.  She said they left a message saying they had a prize entry for her, but she can't remember the rest of it, accidentally deleted the message, and wanted me to check it out. I did a search on the number from her caller ID which showed Group Mitchell (773)288-8091, and it is the same company as stated above.  It is Mitchell's Communications Group in Chicago, IL. Owner is Tony Mitchell.  They are listed on the Better Busines Bureau website in the category of "Sweepstakes, Travel Agencies and Bureaus".  According to the BBB website:

The BBB lists two numbers for them.  The local Chicago number shown, (773) 684-9471, has been disconnected.  However, if you call the toll free number listed there, (866) 601-8851 ext. 1001, you get Tony Mitchell's voicemail. We suspect that my mom's call was tied to a car dealer promotion in our area - you know, where you get a flyer in the mail with a key in it and says you are definitely a winner and to bring your flyer in to see what you've won... She insisted that we go.  We tried to tell her it would be a waste of time - but we humored her, and it was just as we thought.  The prize, of course, was not a car, but a $1,000 or so shopping spree in their "exclusive" catalog - for which you had to pay money if you wanted a printed copy.  I looked online and they had only a handful of cheap things that you wouldn't even want - but if you did, you would have to pay hefty shipping costs.  It might not be tied to the Mitchell Group, but that was absolutely the only contest or anything like it that my mother's name could have been tied to. Needless to say - we won't be calling them back.

The BBB do not allow TOB to become members so that is the reason that they do not have much info. I have check them out for myself but I work for the BBB so I cant comment my experience except I recieved what I was promised.

I received virtually the same call... they had the wrong name for me too. I supposedly had won a car and I "need to call back" and I supposedly entered.

twice they have called...both times they say "I'm sorry, I must have called the wrong number."....idiots...
