Call repeatedly...Who are they

got a call from this number when I answered no one was there so I waited reapting hello hello finally taped message said congradulations something about winning a car couldn't quite make it out because I was surprised when they said
i had one then they gave me an 888 # but I als didn't get had no pen

Caller called at 8:15AM this morning. When we answered the phone, he said we had won a car. We hung up. We are on the National Do Not Call Registry. ???

Call said I've won something, though of course it can't.  I don't understand what the point of these calls are; they aren't even asking for money, and half the time no one is there if I answer the call.  How are they even scamming money?  All they really are is an annoyance.

got the same type of call from someone named 'Tony' saying that we had won a car.  yeah, right.  Didn't call back.

Seriously all these posts are just as bad as the phone calls.  We know we all received the phone call did someone actually get through and have information that's not shared here.  Good lord we don't need one more post saying the same thing as the last.

Got the same scam call at 8:35 on a Saturday morning!!!

Same call as Don and Greg at 4:25pm 01 FEB 2010. Called the number (it's in Chicago) at a late hour and it rang 10 times with no answer. Be careful of the scam.

recived call t 12:35 pm on machine saying same thing don got on his.

received a call at 5:45 pm telling me that i had won one of 4 prizes and that i  had to  call back to 1-877-279-3457. also that i had entered a contest(not true).Obviosly a scam.the date was 1/20/10

Did I win a Cadillac?   really??  I have an extra protection on my phone that will not let calls thru without my knowing who they are..  they got thru anyhow..

I received a call today.. November 24, 2009..  I do not have an answering machine on the number they called.. assuming it was the same as the other posts above..  tried to call it back.. keep getting busy signal.  Imagine that..

I received a call on Nov 18 2009 at 3:48pm. The caller id said "Group Mitchell". They left a message on my voicemail about a contest i won. They said that they know "Im registered with do not call registry", and that they are not a telemarket company and that they wouldnt call me unless it was true. They left a number with an extension number for someone named tony. I called back the number and got a voicemail for that tony person.

Apparently a robo call telling you that your name was entered to win a car.  As I do not enter these things, I hung up.  As of 9/1/09, these are not allowed.  Report to FCC

I've received several calls from this number. Caller ID says MITCHELL GROUP. On each call a recorded voice says "goodbye," and hangs up. If you've received unwanted calls from this number, do what I did. Got a call at 4:11 am from this place!  A recorded voice said something, but I hung up

I got a call about 1:00 PM on 5/13/08, saying I am a winner in a Cadillac give away, I said I wasn't interested and the ignorant Bi*** hung up on me.

Caller left message telling me that I won a Cadillac Escalade from a raffle previously entered. No answer at number left to call back, busy signal at number called from.
