Got call from this number and ignored it too.

It is a Travel Service and the scam is that you've won a Royal Carribean Cruise but had to pay the $98 tax fee for the all inclusive trip to the Bahamas.  Their # is 877-551-3686 which I Googled to Travel Services in Aurora, IL.
Since it's a toll free number I'm giving them a taste of their own crap. I'm bombarding that number as many times as I can and also putting it on autodial on the fax machine.
They also call from 773-321-2061

Got a call while at the doctors office so I didn't answer but would have if I could have since I have friends who call from area code (773). The obvious black person said something like "Hey. This that ----[removed:lang]". Didn't sound like a Telemarketing call to me.

credit card company calling me.......When I talk to someone I ask to be put on the do not call list, they hung up on me before they took my message.......This is not legal.........I reported this company numous time on the do not call website..........however they still call.........so much for that...

Phony "travel" service. They also use 2118 and I assume 2117. I've blocked them all (on my phone).

I received this call at 11pm. I did not answer it and have been receiving numerous calls from the 773 area code. My number is on the DNC list. I typically file a complaint with the FTC especially as I suspect these are robo calls from Card Holder Services. Consumers really should talk with our representatives about this problem, and have punitive measures that work. ugh.

Keep receiving calls from this number, they either don't answer or they leave blank voice messages.

I was called and they were offering me a cruise. I asked them how they got my number and they said "don't you receive calls from numbers you don't know?"

I answered "Yes, and they're usually shady."

She hung up.

This # has called me 3 times today. When I called it back, it doesn't even ring! Dead air, nothing! I am throrughly annoyed!

THEY KEEP CALLING MY CELL PHONE, IF I ANSWER THEY SAY WRONG NUMBER.  I AM TIRED OF THIS.

I got a call from this number and it said, "you've been selected as a winner of a free cruise... press 1 to learn more."

I decided to do it, to see what it was all about, fully expecting a scam.

I played around with the guy for ten minutes or so, probing him with various questions, and then told him I wasn't interested.  

Predictably enough, he has an immediate "comeback" so I just hung up.

They said it was a free 3 or 4-day cruise, and of course the offer was only good if I purchased it right away (he told me there were only eight minutes left).

Here was the supposed deal:

- minimum two people
- $98/person sales tax
- $90-120 one time Port Fee
- free cabin, free meals, free entertainment on the cruise ship
- you would have to pay for alcohol, gambling, tipping, or anything you do on land

The justification they provided was saying that they had contracts and have to fill cruises with a certain minimum number of people, and if I purchased right now I could take the cruise any time in the next 18 months.

I have no way of knowing if it was a scam or not, and of course when I suggested I would think about it and call them back, he told me the deal was only good for eight minutes.

Yeah right!

I got the same call.  Knew I hadn't entered any contests lately(and if I had, they would have put a live person on the line that knew my name), so it was suspicious.  Then the options came.  Press 1 for a live representative.  Press 2 to be placed on our Do Not Call List.  Hm...yeah.  Scammers.

I am on the DNC and this number called and said that I had won a Carnival Cruise.

I keep getting call from this number.

i get both those numbers too the 971 is for car insurance I tell them to stop every time they call but they just keep calling back and i havent answered the other one yet

This number keeps calling us. We have a son in Chicago in the Navy so when the ID shows Illnois it is very unsetteling to answer and no one is there. When we try to call it back we get nothing it just hangs up. This is extremely stressful!!

The NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST is a complete joke! I've received calls from this number and about a dozen others from Oregon even Saudi Arabia and filed complaint after complaint with the NDNC list folks and never heard back on any of them & the calls continue. We even changed our number to no avail!!!

reporting 773-321-2116.....lower your credit card interest.....I DONT HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS, and I am on the no call list....so, I am reporting it.

Just pretend you are interested and wait untill you get a live person. then you let them have it.Yell and scream at them all you want.loose all your anger and than hang up.
