Thanks for posting this- I got a call from this number as well from a guy claiming he has the item I listed lost on Craig list- the caller number was 8478002729 . I didnt pay anything yet but its bad to see this guy preying on people who already lost a precious item and now also lose their money.

We just got a call from this guy too...we told him we would do C.O.D. so will wait to see if he follows through to confirm he has the item. Thanks to Taylor for taking the time to write this, as we were so excited that he'd found our lost item. These jerks deserve all the bad karma in the world!

SEEMS ANOTHER DOUCHE HAS SPRUNG UP. HIS NAME IS 'TERRY ALLEN' OF LAWNDALE, IL AS WELL. Says he got my stolen Computer on a trip to the west coast (RESPONDING TO A CRAIGSLIST AD). His # is 1 847-800-2729
and he wants the money wired...anyhow...not going to happen..oh yeah....and i've heard he REALLY LIKES being called all the time especially late at night. have fun kiddos!

He did the same thing to me on Saturday 9/25. I wired him money to send my wife's lost bracelet back to us and he could not be contacted. He is a total fraud, made a police report. Anybody with more information about him please post it!

PLEASE for Lord's sake DO NOT ACCEPT phone calls from this number. I became overly confident in what he had to say and made the mistake of sending him $100 for my lost class ring. He is a quick speaker and will ask numerous times for where and when he will get his transfer. He goes by the name of "Larry". His voicemail box is full like everyone else said....There are some really cruel and mean people in this world...

This is a scam artist who finds lost or stolen items on the internet, asks for a Western Union transfer
and he will UPS back the item but once the money is picked up he disappears.
Beware.
