Ever since I provided my phone number for my google account, I have been receiving calls from this number. It for a cruseline. The moment you answer you hear the ship horn. It's just a recording and calls from different numbers around the country.

I am receiving  phone calls from this number at least twice a day... I know it is junk calls so I will not answer, but it is annoying. All of my phone numbers home and cells are on the Do Not Call Registry  but somehow they keep on calling.  Please stop calling.

got this one on my work cell at 8:33 pm PST. Like most of you I don't answer "unknown caller" numbers. very annoying considering the technology behind our work cell phones-someone is selling phone lists for sure

I got the call on Dec. 30th. But my husband answered the call while I was in the bathroom without checking the area code -- and was trying to talk with the recorded message thinking it was an actual person then handed me the phone to see if I could understand what was being said.  As soon as I heard it, I slammed the phone shut and told him that he had gotten a junk call before I realized it was MY phone and not his.  The only thing I heard of the recording was " to opt out, press 2" before I slammed the lid down.

I'll be notifying DNC.

I found some info tied to a Victoria Munson regarding this Carribbean Cruise scam. Her number is 602-838-1603. She w***es out a bunch of scams apparently.

I'm so sick of getting called over and over even after I press 1. to have me  on there do not call list  a month later I get called again by the same people and they say there calling from Carnival Cruises and I know that's a lie the call is coming in from Illinois the phone number is 773-449-5042 and not only me  my friend's have got the same call from the same number

Same as the rest - local looking call as I live in Chi Town, did not answer and no message left.  Did call back minutes later but after reading this decided to ignore.

I received a call from this number a while ago too. I did not pick up. I am on a DNC list. I will report this number.

Just got a call from this number. I didn't recognize it and I don't answer unrecognized calls. I got two previous calls from 773-449-5040 which is probably the same thing. I didn't answer those either. They don't leave a message so I figure they aren't important. Anybody really trying to reach me specifically would leave a message.

Some telemarketing scammer got hold of my cell phone number and has been calling me using different numbers from different area codes. This is the second call in two days I have gotten from the "free cruise" spammer -- the first one offered a cruise as a "prize" for answering their "survey." The bottom line of ALL the calls I have been getting is that the caller wants a credit card number (for the "small fee" involved in delivering the free cruise or whatever the gimmick is). I am pretty sure it's the same telemarketer using different gimmicks and different numbers -- maybe they are throwaway cell phones? This scammer wants your credit card number, and probably that 3- or 4-digit code that goes with it. Just think how fast they can run up charges on the Internet with your credit card number and never get caught.

Don't answer these calls. I keep hoping they will get tired of calling me, but I doubt it.

When they called I picked up because I live in Chicago and this was a Chicago area code.  I figured it might be someone from my job, but the other end was silent when I said hello a few times.

For everyone else who says they follow instructions and press 2 in order to be removed from the list, you are not ever going to be removed from their directory.  A lot of these people call to see if anyone answers so they know they have a "hot lead" or a working number and then they can sell your number to other telemarketers for more money.  Don't ever do this, just don't call back and don't pick up.  It's the same technique that SPAMMERS use in emails.

I did the same thing. Pressed 1 and got someone. I told them to stop calling me and he hung up on me.

I had the same results. First time i did not answer and no message left. The second time the Cruise come on, that i had not entered. This was unsolicited.

We get calls almost daily, at least one.  Once both of our cells rang within seconds of each other, both from this number.  We answered neither phone.  Mostly they are from a credit card company.  We have also had calls from security alarm companies, using another number.  Both of our cell phones are registered with the "do not call registry", BIG DEAL....

Sounds like jennifer from card services just invited a new scam.  When will these jack***es learn to stop calling people who don't answer or just pick up and hang up.  telemarketers have to be the dumbest P.O.S out there.

How can these telenuisances get away with constantly breaking the law?  I am listed on 3 different DNC lists & STILL get at least one per week on my cell phone and land line!  What's the use of having DNC if no one is prosecuted.

This is the second night in a row that this number has called my cell.  I did not enter a contest and have hit 2 both times to be removed from the call list.  Don't know what to do to stop this.  What happened to the real don't call list complete with penalties for abuse?

I was curious so I pressed 1 to claim my free cruise.  The man sounded very professional as he read the script.  When I told him I did not recall signing up for this prize, could he tell me where I may have signed up, he laughed and hung up on me...

Get this "missed call" on my cell phone from time to time... area code and exchange the same, number varies.  NEVER answer it, no voice mail, but upon web exploration, it seems many people experience the same thing.
