I have nothing to do with Chicago public schools and would like them to stop calling my phone and leaving messages. I've called twice in the last couple months to have them stop but they still do. It's annoying.

My cell number is 773.931.1193 and I continuously receive calls for a child not in school. I do not have children in a Chicago public school system. PLEASE REMOVE MY CELL NUMBER FROM YOUR DATABASE. I am a senior citizen and you am constantly bothered by the phone ringing at 6:00 am every day. REMOVE MY NUMBER

Called 773-553-5700. Their message gave a number to call and I tried the 773-553-3925 Option 3 and that led to two other options that had nothing to do with the phone calls. I get 5 calls every week at different times of the day: 6pm, 10am, noon, 9pm. I already called once last year to have the number removed. But it's back again. Finally put them on the "reject call" feature of the fone so it doesn't go thru to my voicemail. As Lori said on 8 Nove 2012 "Even better, use a text msg from the phone that says take this number off your list." These people are idiots.

Late for School on sunday.  Cut classes.

It worked. I called and it went directly to her.

I get this call about 3 or 4 times a day letting me know about trips.got a call saying sara wasn't in school today tried to call back no luck.i live 50 miles south of city no kids in school got me wondering if sara wasn't at school and I got the call not her parents that's not good at all

My son doesn't go to CPS, and I get calls from this # telling me my "child" "Miguel" didn't go to school today... well my Son's name isn't Miguel and as I stated he does not attend CPS...and why are they calling during Winter Break...Hmmmm I think there's more here than meets the eye.

I've been getting calls from cps for almost 2 years have called the stupid communications dept. over 5 times and I keep getting calls. the woman who answers the phone only takes msg and refused to help me or give me any information about who I need to call for help

I got a call from this number too and no one responded on the other line.

To get rid if this calls was such a pain in the a...  
But thats the easy way.
Call 773 553 3819 and Jacqueline remove your name from the list.
Other wise get transferred by 773 553 1620, department of communications.

I don't have children under 40! I get messages on my cell phone and want it to stop! Very annoying!!!

No one in any school system maintains this site or this web page. Your callers cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You will not get compliance with your orders until, if possible, you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

Given how stubborn this call source sounds, a notice on paper may work best, sent USPS Certified with return card.

I do not have a child that attends Chicago Public School, please stop callings me.

Get calls 2x a month on my cell from this number. When I call 773-553-3925 option 3 to get it cancelled all I get is a message that all lines are busy, please hold. Uh, no I won't because after 5 min I'm still waiting. This is the Chicago Public Schools and they should have some way of cancelling these calls without talking to someone. This is a good us of the "punch this number or that number" to be removed from the list. Even better, use a text msg from the phone that says take this number off your list.

I just got a call from this #  it is Chicago Public School, they are just making sure that you have a child in cps and if you do not you can call tham back and select option 3, so they don't call you again.

Ed S has the correct steps.  Call 773-553-3925, select option 3 then option 1.  A very pleasant person will help have your number removed from the data base.  Because you are calling and these are IT folks, please don't go off on a rant about the robo-calls.  These people are just doing their job and do not control the robo-calls.

There may have been an error in reporting the number by the parent/employee of CPS so be thankful there is a way to remove your number!!!

These calls come early in the morning (I work nights) and later in the evening.  I hear nothing.  No instructions.  No computer.  Nothing.  They're eating up my minutes.

Chicago Public Schools...you are terrible.  I've made MULTIPLE attempts to get my new phone number out of their database.  I have no children and I am not a contact for anyone.  Finally had to block this number and the other one they call from as well....773-553-1000.  I rec'd 10 calls yesterday.  10.   Absolutely ridiculous.

They call me each day and only silence in the handset

I got a call but it was dead air.  My child will be in Chicago Public school, but school doesn't start until next week.  It makes sense that my number would be in their database.  They could be running some tests prior to the school year.

This is a call from your child's public school in Chicago letting you know that they were not in school that day. i kept my son home from school because he was ill and the school called with an automated message letting me know he was not in attendance that day. That is pretty cool. The call is usaully made about 3pm that same day.

I received multiple calls from this number on my cell phone...with no one on the line when I pick up.  I am a senior citizen and have no children in and school.  What the hell is going on.
