RECEIVED SAME FAX LAST WEEK, ASKING MY COMPANY FOR HELP THE SAME 15%.   HEH DO THEY REALLY THINK US STUPID.  I HOPE THE GRC WILL GET THIS PEOPLE BEFORE THIS GETS OUT OF HAND,  AND PUT THE SON IN ANOTHER PRISON CELL AND STAY THERE FOR GOOD.

Just got the same fax, complete with his phone number, would be really interesting to see where that call really goes!

Actual fax number: 27862717451. Callback number is 27-735638117. Out of country numbers both: This was a textbook "Nigerian" 419 scam, purporting to be from "Charles Taylor, Jr." (email given as charlesjnr@freepresidenttaylor.org) son of former Liberian president (now on trial for war crimes) Charles Taylor. Trying to entice the recipient of the fax with 15% of 60 million dollars if we help him move the money out of South Africa. And something about blood diamonds. It's been awhile since I've seen this scam come by fax, actually. The actual fax says it's from "Phoenix Media Ltd."
