Ahh looks like Sally Mae changed their number yet again.  Thanks for the info.  I co-signed for an ex-gf and she isn't paying anymore so this is what you have to endure.

Got a new phone number and apparantly some guy owes Sallie Mae a lot of money. This very snarly gal named courtney won't say what company she works for. They have been calling with multiple numbers every day for the past 2 weeks since I had let this monster know how I felt about her calling someone who doesn't owe her company money.

She refuses to give me any way to prove I am not the person they are calling and I am reaching my limit.

they got a called my cell... nothing short of fcc intervention can stop this...

Yeah It's Sallie Mae. I have a student loan with them and they will call like 10 times a day. UGH!!!!!

months ago i couldn't afford my sl bill so i called to do a forbearance or something.  well since i called a day after the bill was due (it was due the day after christmas) and i didnt have the money that was due they wouldnt do the thing i needed until the bill was caught up. they wouldnt even try to work with me.  so about a month of them calling at least 3 times a day, even sunday nights from all different numbers but never leaving a vm and if i answered a machine put me on hold once for 20 min before i hung up and not even letting me know who it was.  i called at&t and got a new number saying i was getting harassing calls.  i hadnt had a call from them for a couple months until yesterday.  now again a bunch of calls.  i havent been answering.  looked up the numbers, guess who?  howd they get the new number? dont know.  financial situation hasnt improved so they arent getting any money from me.  i called them back the person answered said sallie mae and i hung up!

some one call me from that number too and asked for someone name justin I told them they have to wrong number then they it got quiet. I hung up anyway.

Unknown, they keep calling and I never answer.  Very harrassing.  Would like it to stop.

Collection Agency - Called them back. Gave them "a" social and of course they couldn't find me in their system. So they looked it up under the phone number and they were looking for another person (Surprise). They told me they will take me off their call list since it doesn't match. But of course it doesn't :-)

Out of the blue I started getting calls from this #.I have received 3 calls so far since Monday (it's thursday now), i never picked them up and they never leave a message. How do i get them to stop?

I hate Sallie Mae with a passion and was disgusted to find out that they give kickbacks to schools in order to sign more students up for loans.

No way I can pay the $1300 a month they want from me... especially in this economy.

It's Sallie Mae. They have all these numbers with different area codes and whatnot but the thing is they all come from the same call center. They try different nubmers so you answer.

For me I just don't have 1200 a month or an income that comes close to that so...TS for SM!

This is a collection agent for Sallie Mae. They are mean and will not take no for answer. They call at least 4 times a day.

SAME HERE. IT'S SALLIE MAE. I GOT A GUY NAMED EDWARD WHO WAS A REAL D*CK HEAD. HE CALLED ME BACK AFTER I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK. HE WOULDN'T TELL ME THE COMPANY'S NAME. I HUNG UP. HE CALLED BACK. HE LEFT ME A VOICEMAIL AND SAID, "OH, WE MUST HAVE GOT DISCONNECTED. NO WORRIES. I WILL CALL YOU BACK AND BACK AGAIN. HAVE A GREAT EVENING." WHAT A**HOLES.

I bought a new cell phone on october 20th and I got a phone call from this number that day and they were looking for a certain Kristina Washington. I told them that I had no idea who that was and as I was about to explain they hung up on me. I got a call again the next day and told them the same thing and got hung up on so I tried to call back. They told me who they were looking for and I proceeded to tell them that I am not her and I dont know who it is and that they kindly remove me from their list. On the 22nd I got yet a third call. I decided to let it ring and let it go to missed calls. And finally today they called again. I, again told them I had no idea what was going on and got hung up on. I called back and got a different woman. I told her that I did not know who Kristina was I never met her and I just got the phone. I asked who was calling and she replied Sallie Mae. I said what is this. and she said a student loan company. I said well i cant do anything for you and she said thank you and i will make sure you do not get any calls again. and I am waiting to see if I get a call tomorrow.

A woman called asking for Jessica Hurtado. I received a call a few days ago asking for a Boyd Hurtado. So I already knew it was a scam of some sort. When I asked what company she was with, she kept asking if Jessica was home. I kept asking what company she was with and she finally said she wasn't going to tell me the company until I tell her if Jessica lived here. I said that the ball was in my court and that I wanted to know what company she was with. She replied that no, the ball was in her court and she would keep calling. I told her I was reporting the call to the FCC and she said fine and hung up.
