I got 48 calls yesterday and they were from 19 different numbers and I am being hit wi more calls today. I stopped answering them after awhile because I figured they were all the same kind of calls trying to sell me a personal loan and a few of the calls there was no one there when I answered the call

I received three calls today from 773-596-1404. I do not answer unfamiliar number, but they keep calling.

When a collection agency is not getting any where with you, then they sell your contact info to these harassing companies in retaliation.

The intent is to harass you and confirm that you are the person that a collection agency is looking for. They call and pretend that you applied for some loan and confirm that they are speaking to the intended person. Once the call has ended, then shortly thereafter a collection agency (most likely for a cash advance or check cashing company), gives you a call back. They know it is your number because the middle eastern scammers have confirmed that they reached you at the number. Then the harrassing phone calls from a collection agency ensues. I have engaged them in trying to figure out what company that they represent. It appears that they use legitimate US company names to say that they are following on a loan app that you completed and were approved. These companies are registered in the US and may or may not be a part of this phishing scam. Most likely they are shell companies (for example they are registered as a car loan company) but actually are a collection agency. I really think that they just randomly use legitimate company names without the company's knowledge that they are doing so. Before I got this call, they called from (888) 296-1427.

This man called...lots of noise in the background...said "will you sleep with me tonight " ...I asked him to repeat it...after he did I put my husband on the phone....he then hung up.  Blocked the number.

I have since stopped answering the calls if I don't know who they are.  I have also blocked the numbers and they send my number to another of their branches or call from another number.  It's really a pain in the b-hind!  Very tired of this kind of HARRASSMENT!

They called regarding my claim to medical reimbursement......  I have asked them several times to remove my number from all of their data bases and they keep calling!

They have been harassing me for about 5 months. Two weeks ago after arguing with the middle eastern guy, he told me my adress and said he was going to come and rape me. Nothing that the police can help with, I filed a report. Sprint won't help me. They are international calls. We have to pretty much just accept it. I am so pist, I can't change my phone number

I have called the police on em. It's a scam outside of the country. Nothing we can do

I'm gonna try this one since nothing else can stop them!  Good One!

Just called me.  "Unavailable" as the name on the caller id.  But the number was 773-596-1404.  Insane.  Same thing asked if I needed a loan.  Typical "Indian" accent.  I told him if I needed a loan I would go to a bank.  I asked where he got my phone number and he said from the FCC.  I laughed and told him that the FCC doesn't give out consumers phone numbers.  I told him I will give the FCC his number.  He said "okay"  Then I said do not call this number ever again.  And he says...."Okay, I will call you in one hour".  I said no no no DO NOT CALL ME EVER AGAIN.  He says that he will call in an hour.  Then my husband got on the other phone and went off on the guy.  I didn't want him to do that, I was having fun with this guy.  Then he says "this call is recorded" and I said good because the recording will have me saying that I do not want a loan, and not to call my number ever again.  Waiting to see if they call again.  

I've gotten multiple calls from this number. THIS IS NOT CASHNETUSA. I REPEAT THIS IS NOT CASHNETUSA DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY OR BUY A GREENDOT LOADABLE CARD . I've dealt with cashnet in the past and they do not treat their customers like this, nor do they ask you to send them money "to show good faith" I received a call from a man named Anderson a couple nights ago stating he was from cashnetusa and that I applied for a loan and he wanted to get the rest of my information. And I told him I was not interested and I did not apply for a loan. And he said " yes you did bi***, and I'm going to take out $150.00 from bank account right now"  and at that point I called him a few expletives and hung up.

Took a trip toFlorida and when I got back the calls started. Calls stated "the loan you applied for has been approved for $10000". When I told them I didn't apply for a loan they told me I was missing a great opportunity.  5 calls from different numbers within 30 minutes starting with this number. Later that evening someone named Jack Watson called twice and when I told him he had called 30 minutes earlier he started laughing and hung up.

I got about 10 calls today from this number and so I called it back to ask them what they wanted. He says " you are a d***hit I you don't know why I'm calling, didn't you listen to my introduction?" Then I said no a***ole stop calling me and he responds with more cuss words.

Keep receiving calls from 773-596-1404, 773-596-1404. Last call just came in from 773-596-1405. Really tired of calls, so I don't answer them. Trying blocking, but they turn around & call from other numbers.

They called me 7x per hour. The guy told me that he had a loan from Wells Fargo waiting for me. When I asked him to stop calling, he replied "Why should I stop calling you? I love you, and I want to pay you for one night." I got furious and cursed at him and he replied "You are a cheap $20 American Bi***. Indian men do it better than American men." Little did he know, I am a Vietnamese woman. If you ignore this number, he/they will call you from another number. Be aware of scammers! I wish they had something else better to do with their time!

These are scam operations, the numbers are generally spoofed. The best you can do is report them to the appropriate agency's. Most of these scammers are located in India.

I called back to ask for someone in charge and this person got very fowl with me talking nasty and then calling me a stupid bi*** and they will keep calling! I want to know how to press charges on.this company hope there insurance policy covers men lime that Guy (hard to understand heavy eastern accent)

I, also have been "attacked" by whomever owns this number! And you are correct in your statement that "if you "black them out, they just call from different numbers"!
But with so many programs and "apps" available to use with the ability to "program" different numbers in their phone system, it can be very frustrating. But ironically, having the ability to post on this site is a direct result of the same technology that allows these telemarketers and "degenerate" collection agencies the ability to make it appear they are calling from numbers "of their choice".
At some point, we can only hope that they "run out" of numbers that appear on our caller Id's when receiving these calls. We CAN and WILL, "eventually", win the battle! God speed!
