Caller hung up. We could hear background noise & someone else trying to dial out at the same time.

On May 3, got 3 calls from this number in the AM. First two were hang ups, 3rd one was India/Middle Eastern sounding man with online yellow pages or some variant. The ID showed up as Stepanek, Partric. When you call this number back, it just rings and rings, no voice mail or message plays.
I am bascially having the same problem as BadGeorgie, the online yellow page people call me several times during the week from a different number, then they stop for a while. I have filed a report with the BBB, but they cant seem to help/stop the calls.

That's weird... John... I am in the same boat. I got calls the last two days from the 773 number and then twice today. from that same 508 number. IT's the same rat bastids I think that do the stupid yellow pages or something. They are relentless.... always calling from bogus caller id's . I have filed over 20 complaints with the FTC and nothing has been done. The calls stop for a week or two and then they start up again, originating from different bogus caller id's.
One trick I have done is labeling all of these numbers in my phone's memory under DO NOT ANSWER. that way I don't waste my time.

We keep getting them here too. If you call the number back it says it has been disconnected. Just don't answer it when you see it come in.
