Aggressive approach to changing my energy didn't fly with me, when I said I needed more time to look into it I received a nice hang up in my ear.  They called back again, same result, talked to supervisor, same result.  Rude, rude people.

Three calls from this phone number to ask me to switch to an alternative energy delivery system (N Chicago suburb), two hang-ups, talked to "supervisor" twice who also hung up on me?..report this number at any chance.  

IVE HAD CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER I FINALY ANSWERED. THE NICE GENTALMAN  EXPLIANED THAT THIS IS A INTERNET NUMBER USED BY SEVERAL COMPANYS. AS A SKEPTIC I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THIS NUMBER COMES BACK TO A INTERNET COMPANY NAMED VICIDIALER AND WAS LEGIT!!!!!! CURRENTLY A COMPANY CALLED STARION IS USING THE NUMBER AND HAS A GREAT RATE  I SIGNED UP ALL 45 OF MY ACCTS AND LOVING IT

Someone called several times, when picked up the phone no one answered.
This kind of jokes bothers me a lot. Be aware of this king of calls...

Answered asked me if I had paid my most recent electric bill.I asked electric bill from who. She said ComEd. I asked whose name was on the bill. Lady got mad and asked if I spoke English. I answered do you speak English which furthered angered her and asked if I'm Mexican. I said no then she asked If i had taken care of the bill. I responded I do not know who this Bill guy is. She hung up.

I DON'T ANSWER ANYMORE AND THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE.  YOU THINK THEY WOULD GET THE MESSAGE THAT WE DON'T WANT TO TALK.  ALSO, SOME OF THESE PLACES WILL SEND AN AUTOMATED TEXT MESSAGE.  I TOLD THE PHONE COMP. I WON'T PAY FOR A MESSSAGE THAT I DIDN'T SEND !!

I recieved a call from this number on August 1, 2012. I didn't answer, because I was not familiar with the number. No message was left.

Did not answer, but according to a previous post, it is Carnival Cruise Line.  I have never contacted them in any way, contest or otherwise.  Who the h__l wants to go to Mexico?  They shoot at you there!  I'll just stay here in Wonderful Wyoming where you can "pack" legally.  I too have been on the no-call list forever.

There was a time where I did "win" a trip to the Bahamas but it was from a different company. I thought that company had given this one my number. After seeing these posts about getting called when you never entered a contest.. I know otherwise. But damn, second "free" trip to the Bahamas in 6 months. I'm almost lucky :D

I just received a call from them and for fun pressed 1 to accept the offer. I eagerly acted so surprised to the operator  and listened to the details.. Something about a trip to the Bahama's or Mexico... It's all inclusive except liquor, gambling, shopping and a *port dock fee* of anywhere from 80-$120.
Then she said everything is free except the government tax of the cruise which is $98. You can choose anywhere from 2 to 16 people at this *SPECIAL RATE*
BUT
You have to pay the government tax RIGHT NOW to book your cabin lolz
Really? I'm pretty sure I never entered in a contest for it and if it's free then it's free.. All inclusive better be free liquor because something tells me that these *free cabins* are going to be crappy

Another day, another spam phone call.

I happened to be on the phone a lot today, so I picked it up without looking at the number.  Realized it was junk, so I waited till I could get a person on the line.  Once I confirmed someone picked up, I just placed the phone down on my desk and left it.  I think I heard some hold music at one point, but it stayed connected for a good 2 minutes.

Sure, I could yell & scream, or ask to be removed, or waste more of my time wasting theirs (I'll admit, sometimes that's fun, but only when I'm bored and need a break from work anyways).  Or I could just "waste" a few of my cellphone minutes (never go over anyways) and keep their line tied up for a few minutes.  Probably not hurting them all that much, but eh, anything I can do to slow them down is worthwhile.

Didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.

got call from 773-639-1840: but i don't answer #s not programed into my phone and most especially not in my area code.  Been on DNC call list for years for what good it does.  Get 3 -5 calls a week from all different area codes.

Since I have free long distance I called back to hear a message about getting a free cruise select 1 to be added to do not call press 2.  I will be reporting this to DNC because not everyone can return a call to long distance and they are calling me at a do not call number and not leaving a message.  I will report again later and file with state and fed to prosecute if called again.

Does anyone know who owns this number?
