Cant get them to stop calling my number. Think they are looking for someone other than me.

I keep getting calls from this number. "This is a call for (unintelligible in a woman's voice) If this is not (unintelligible again) please press ..."
An Operator gets on the line and wants to know who I am.

I have pressed #9 to be removed -as I am not that person, but they have continued calling me with some other names, which are also unintelligible. This has been continuing throughout the summer.

Get your selfs a air horn like I do and when the numbers call answer it and blast them with the horn. It has worked for me the strange numbers are slowing down now.

Continually get this number on my ID but do not answer ANY calls unless I recognize number, suggest other do this too and maybe these will stop after ssssooo many attempts.

this is a collection agency that represents 100s of companies.

I've accessed this site before, and have gotten calls sporadically from this #, but haven't answered when shown on caller ID, and have simply deleted following.  Today I answered without looking, since expecting a call at this time.  Automated male voice - (didn't hear first portion of message) - but heard "...if not this person's #, press "9" and this # will be removed from our system."  Whether name they had indicated was mine or not,I didn't hear (or care!).  I simply pressed "9," and voice said my # had been removed from their system.

I got a call from this number, person asked me to hold a sec then read my last 4 #s of SSN and asked me to verify. I said no. He said that he will keep calling me until I do. I told him that is not even close and he hung up. It is a scam. NEVER VERIFY YOUR last 4 #s of SSN or your identity is gone.

Another person answered the phone and then didn't want to leave a message.  They only asked for by my first name.

This number keeps calling me.  Caller ID says 17736681631 Chicago, IL.  I called it back to see who it was and it was Merchant Credit.  When they call and get my machine...they ask for me and then say if this is not LLW disconnect..if it is...continue to listen to this message.

I called this #.  Something about merchant's credit guide. I owe no one any $$, so don't know what it is.  When I called back, machine answers and  asks to leave message.

Who is this person, and why wont they stop calling me?

This appears to be one of many numbers used by debt collectors NCO Financial Systems, home off in Horsham, PA

Got a call from #773-668-1631.  I answered it, said hello multiple times, but there was no response.  The other end was silent but they did not hang up.  I called back, and it is for some company called Merchants Credit Guide.  I hung up before speaking with a rep.  They called me back a minute later under #888-249-4134.  I was not able to get to it in time.

continually calls and hangs up.  no voice mail, can't call back

Have gotten calls from this # sporadically in the past, and simply erased from caller ID.  Messages in past began "..if not..." but I just erased without listening, and never answered when displayed while incoming.  Today, expecting another call, answered without looking first.  Automated voice said, "if this not correct #, press '9' and number will be removed from our system."  Didn't hear name mentioned at beginning (or care!).  Pressed "9," and same automated voice said "# has been removed from our system."  If they're calling me it's either related to somebody who had my # way back, a mistaken identity, or possibly a dispute I had several years ago which was decided in my favor.  Don't care which, never respond to this type call, and don't normally answer like I did today.

I received many calls from this telefono number, When I let my machine answer, the people does not leave any message. If I answer no bady talks but I know some one is on the line.

I keep getting calls from this number at all hours of the day and night.  I get the same message with a garbled my name.  If the answering machine picks it up how are you supposed to hang up if it's not you?  Even if you do hang up then keep calling every day!!!  It's a pain in the butt!

Got a call from (773) 668-1631 saying to press <9> if I was not some person whose name I couldn't understand. I pressed <9>. It asked me to hold, started 'music on hold' and then hung up. It said it was "An importent business call."

They call periodically. When I see this number on caller ID, I don't answer, and they never leave a message. I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry. https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

Calls several times a day and never leaves a msg.  Comes thru caller id as "Chicago IL"

Showed up on my caller ID.  The caller did not leave a message.
