It is from U of Chicago Booth. I get the call every year. Can't possibly turn it off unfortunately. Every year I ask not to be called again but it doesn't work.

Another call from them today, this time on my cell.  They are relentless.  I actually have 2 grad degrees from Univ. of Chicago, so I'm never sure if it's for business or humanities.

I do currently live in Chicago but I never attended the University of Chicago, though I did apply for a possible transfer. Maybe that's why I made it onto the list.

Yup, it's U of C fundraising.

I don't know why that have to hound alumni--they send enough paperwork requesting donations

also a grad - GSB 1986; caller has called approx 1 per week lately.

I also got a call from them today, and numerous others in the past. Several years ago I gave them a token $10 contribution. If I had a lot of $, I'd give them again. I really can't fault them as who else would be more likely to give a contribution, and it's not as it were some profit making organization. Caller ID says it's Illinois, not knowing anyone in IL I simply don't pick up the phone.

I just got one as well. How annoying.

Another confirmation that it's U of C. Class of '09 here. My friends who also graduated '09 have been getting calls from U of C too asking for money...

It is usually the School you graduated from calling for donations. I used to answer - knowing it was the school - and that was what it was. I gave the first year. And now I can't.
