Got a call from 773-717-2950. The ID read "chicago calling". I did not answer. They left no message.

Added this phone to the 'no call list' lets see if it gets more calls or less. I forget with 'burner' phones we can do that too.

He always calls the 'burner phone' I hope he likes my 'recorded automated message' lol. This time he sounded like he was eating while he was talking. Seriously? Put down the chips and clean up before you pretend to be a federal agent...right? Geez...I'm turning him into the court house in the area because someone might fall for this crap. I would just let him keep talking to himself.

Got a call from this number on a Sunday at 6:25pm.  Political or not can they do that?

We also received a call from this number and the Caller ID said "CELLULAR CALL."  It was a recorded call claiming to be taking a political survey (which sadly is not exempt from the do not call list). I hung up, then called them back and got an automated voice immediately asking if I want to be removed from their call list. I waited for the tone and entered my number. Got no confirmation in any way, just disconnected (guessing I'd completed the process?). Will report if the calls continue.

Got a call from this number on 08/16/2011. Didn't answer and no message was left.

We also received a call from this number and the Caller ID said "CELLULAR CALL."  It was a recorded call claiming to be taking a political survey (which sadly is not exempt from the do not call list).  As a rule, I don't participate in surveys so I hung up.  Reading these other comments on here, though, has me wondering whether this was a legitimate call, so I'll go ahead and report it to www.donotcall.gov.  That's all we can do, besides not answering calls from unknown numbers.

Called the number to see who it was. Got a recording saying that if I wanted to be removed from their calling list: leave my number!!  LOL, NO WAY.....they'd only call from another number.

Received the call at 6:50pm 7/19/2011    No message was left...surprise surprise.  

Thought the DO NOT Call list was supposed to stop this type of thing....?? Yeah, right!

received 2 calls one right after the other and did not answer and they left no message, about an 2 hours later got another call and answered it a recorded voice said "this is a short political pol" and i said "yes it is" then i hung up

Got a call. No message left. I checked here to see who it was. I see it's no one I wish to talk to. I will not call the number back as some have done, as I have suspicion that leaving them my # would only confirm to them that it is a real #, and they will probably put me on a list and sell the list to others.

I don't know who this is, but I happened to call it back and it went directly to a message that said "to opt out of these calls, leave your number after the tone." Therefore, I left my number and verbally told them to remove me from their list. I beloeve they have a legal obligation to stop calling now. Hope this helps!

I got a missed call from this # and called it back. A recording said "If you wish to have your number removed leave a message after the beep with your phone number." It didn't list a company name or any other information. I just hung up and they haven't called back.

I got three calls this evening from three different phone numbers, one of which was this one.  None of the callers left a message on my voice mail.  This phone number only turned up on my caller ID as an Illinois call.
