Received a voicemail stating there is a lawsuit against me and first if all address me by my first name inappropriate. I should have my lawyer contact Parker and Parker office. To call before matters becomes worst. I researched number in google and found same complaints as myself. Scammers!!!!

Someone name Justin Brown keeps calling my phone. He is really not nice .. Saying something about affidavait.

It is 10:00 at night and someone from parker and parker just called me again. I screamed at the guy for calling my number so late at night and that it is illegal for him to contact me so late at night.The number that came up on my phone was 1-876-498-8705. I looked up the number and the call is coming from Jamaica. The guy was rude and asked if I owe money on a payday loan and I said no. He said I better not be lying or I am in big trouble. I told him that I got a hold of my local FBI agent and my attorney about the number they keep calling me from. I told them that if they call me again that I would have the number traced and it would not be me that is in trouble. Then  I hung up on him. This id DEFINATELY A SCAM and don't believe what they say. Why would Jamacia be calling me about a payday loan that was borrowed in the United States.

these people keep calling me. They leave me a a message telling me that I need to get call them back as soon as possible. They also claim that they have a complaint against my name and social security number. They have very heavy accents and if they are a real law firm then has come I have not recieved a letter in the mail proving who they are. I also called my employer and told them not to give out any of my information.

Same story here.These people with heavy middle-eastern accents and american names keep calling me from 773-340-6852 and 773-741-7498. Saying that there's legal action taking place against my ss#. They always call me before 7am which I find strange for a legit company to be calling so early. Every time I try to return the call I just get their voice mail. I got a similar call about a month ago and was told to call a law firm back with a 909 area code. When I did, they answered and hung up as soon as I spoke. How can we get these people to stop?

Do not respond to these phone calls they are trying to confirm your identity in order to steal it or try to exstort you for money by saying you owe a company money if you have done a pay day loan app online that is how they got your info. Please do not respond report all of them to your local police the SS administration and all three creditors. I applied for one payday advance and nowI get these phone calls all the time. also google the number so you can find a location for he number. but what ever you do, do not confirm any info they have tell them I'm sorry you have the wrong number if it is on your answering machine play it to the police file a report and with the other agencies listed. that means every number you recieve.

I am getting the same calls from the same phone number 773-741-7498, it is 100% fraud. They are just trying to extort money from people. They claimed to be the Law Firm of Parker & Parker for me. The only Parker & Parker Law Firm I could find on the internet is in India and they deal only in Patent Law, be these guys say they are in California and want me to give them my lawyers information, what a bunch of idiots. I told them I have already filed a complaint with them with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which I have. I suggest that anyone else contacted by these people do the same, and when they do get biligerent with you, just tell them you have reported them to the FTC, the guy I told that to got extreme;y nervous and said he was sorry and that he would relook into my case and then hung up quickly.

I've been getting the same.. They are 100000% Fraud, they have a case against them now through the Fed trade commission.. Call your local police department and file a fraud claim. that's the only way to shut them down ASAP.. Itis illegal in the USA to pretend to be a law firm in order to collect a debt. the number is 773 741 7498

Get this call all the time and its so annoying..attorney General advised me not to say nothing and just hang up...they also said ask for their business ID number so you can report it for further reference..it worked well for a little time

I just got a call from that phone number and called them back. He started swearing at me becuase I told him I didn't believe he was in Chicago. He had a very thick accent and told me his name was Robert William. I said, really, you can't get more creative than that. He then said he will see me in the court house. For one, no one will be calling sayiing they have criminal charges against you first. There is no paper trail that way. They will have to mail you something first. Its totally bogus but I enjoyed giving him my piece of mind. There was a lot of back ground noise and said, you must be quite the lawyer sitting in a call center with a few hundred people. He then hung up on me after saying, America is a free country. I said, you don't even know what america feels like you dink! What a loser company. Do these people really belive we are stupid enough to fall for this...

I applied for a payday loan,but i never accepted it, because i didn't want any excess debt. the first time the idiots call me they said i i took out a loan for 525, the second time it was for 3hundred something. at first i was scared when they called me because i actually switched bank accounts, and thought maybe the money went to the closed account somehow...but i knew for a fact i spent no money whatsoever..finally, i realized they were full of s***.. i asked them to show info on where it was sent, and to prove that i spent a penny of anyones money other than my own. of course, they cant do it...so, now im pretty much gonna call back and pretend like i wanna pay off my "debt," and pretty much harass and give them the run around as they've done me for the past 2 weeks....F****RS!!

Do they eventually stop calling if you dont answer? They also call from 872-213-9113.

I am getting harrassed by an thick accented man from this number several times a day...on both my personal number and work cell. They are threatening and offensive.

I had someone with an Indian accent call who claimed to be named Shawn Smith from Parker & Parker law offices. They were looking for my mother...I told him she wasn't home so he told me to let her know that he called. But now that I see all these reports for this number I know who he really is....

Yesterday these people called me at work SEVENTY times.  I am not exaggerating.  They called myself, two of my coworkers, my supervisor and our main toll-free number.  They were rude, beligerent, and called me many names.  They also threatened to call 100 times a day until I took care of the problem.

I went to the local police last night who really didn't offer much support. Though they did eventually do a report.

It's pathetic and sad what people do.  And the worst part about it is WE CAN DO ANYTHING.  These people will simply get a new set of numbers, a new company name, and then they'll probably call us again.

Sick, sick, sick.  :(

i got a phone call from some guy at this number threatining if i dont pay them 500.00 right now they will have a omaha sheriff pick me up no that was my first clue this was foney there is no such thing and i looked them up on line and through resources and nothing shows them to be a law office a few days earler i also received a call from a california number claiming to be a attorney but it also was the same guy.

These guys have been calling me as well.  Just recently I applied for a pay day loan for the very first time ever.  I did it on line and ever since I've been getting these calls.  They say they is a complaint against by SSN and they were able to tell me my address and SSN.  This is scary that these people have my information.  How do I protect myself?

This is the 2nd day in a row I have received a call and voicemail from Justine Brown. Since it's my cell # unless I know who's calling, I don't answer. I'll call the # back if they leave a voicemail. The first message was very hard to understand, but the second was very similar to the message Nora (complaint above) received. She gave her name, number, that she was calling from Parker & Parker, but never said what company she was calling about. Only something about my social security number, litigation or allegation (I couldn't it make out) and that it's "Of the highest importance" and "I'm not taking the call serious" I'm so glad I looked this # up, the message (what I could understand of it) sounded pretty serious and freaked me out a bit. I've never gotten a payday loan?!? I'm already on the Do Not Call list. This is my cell #...I thought telemarketers, collection agents, etc. were not supposed to call cell phone #'s?

I screen several of these calls every week. They are scam artists and if you hang up, they just call back. Now they are caiming they are Parker and Parker Law Office in Chicago. When I asked for their street address they threatened to call the police. I said "Please do!" they hung up.
When they call, give no information about yourself. Ask for their street address. Ask for Parker's first name, both Parker's. Ask why the city of Chicago has no record of them being in business. When they get belligerent (and they will) ask them why they don't get a real job like working at 7-11 or the Convenient Mart. References to them having carnal knowledge with a camel is effective too. Eventually they hang up.
The State's Attorney office is aware of this scam. Most people being affected have taken out PayDay loans in the past. These scammers are actually located in the Asia and are using technology to redirect their calls to US numbers.

I have been screening many calls at work. When I asked for more information, they claimed they were in Chicago, when I asked for a street address, he refused and threatened to call the police on me. I said "please do!" He hung up.  There isn't a law firm in Chicago by this name. The State Attorney's advice is to simply hang up, but they keep calling back. Give them no information, just ask them for their address, what is Parker's first name? Why doesn't the city have any record of them being in business? Feel free to ask for somebody who can speak English.
Trust me, if you are persistent in bugging them, they quit calling.

I have just rec'd no less than TWELVE calls in a row from this "Parker Law Firm".  I finally went into an office and called them back on one of the 12 numbers they called me on.  The person who answered the phone refused to give a name though he did answer with "Parker Law Firm".

I preceeded to say to him, and would NOT let him speak (though he tried to cut me off repeatedly) that if he or anyone else every contacted this company again they would be subjected to a law suit.  I told him it is illegal to claim you are a law service when you aren't, that Parker Law Firm is on several national lists as scammers and that I would file a harrassment law suit against them their heads would spin.  

With that, I hung up.  I agree with Angry - I don't want to hate on anyone - but I SERIOUSLY hate these companies.

I received a phone call from a Matt Peterson from Parker and Parker stating that i have aligations on my name and social securtiy number and i need to contact him immediately. OMG!!!!! Yea right.It should be against the law for people to call and harress you for BS. It gets old especially when u know that they r crooks and they call u two to three times a day.

I just got a call this morning..THICK accent..with the name of John Smith, stating that I or my attorney needed to return the call immediately and that if he didn't hear back from me or my attorney something would soon unfold on me!  What is that supposed to mean???!!!!

I called back and you can hear all the noise in back ground like telemarketing oveseas. I asked when did i borrow money he said Oct. of 2010. When i called again then they said June 2011 This is a scam anybody I could call that would do something.

I recieved a call from stating they are from law offices of cochran & cochran stating I owe are resprenting a company I owe money to but I have not applied for any loan for this place. They have an indian accent and then transfer me to another rep. who sounds like the same person.

Thats what happened to me! ive never taken out a loan and they said i was being sued and they needed $300 or they would proceed with the court case, they are disgusting.
