You've been scammed.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Got a call from this number and told be all my info down to my ssn so he told me I owed$1,347 or I will have a warrant so I paid him $400 and the stupid number says it doesnt work now

I had a voicemail on my cell from this guy, and he also left a threatening message on my work number, for everyone to hear.  It's a scam.  There is no such law firm and the number is a cell number.

Thanks for the feed back.  After some research there wasn't even a law firm by that name in Illinois.  I contacted the bank and I never even had a account opened with them. I think its a scam.

Simple enough. Contact the bank! I'd be willing to bet they have no overdraft under your name or account. If you do have an overdraft, pay the bank. Law firms NEVER use empty threats of "felony warrants" in regards to simple overdrafts. As a matter of fact, REAL law firms don't concern themselves with overdrafts at all!
Post the name & address of this supposed Law firm. It will take less than 30 minutes for their entire history to be found here. If they even exist, which I doubt!

Ive been receiving phone calls from a guy named steve who says he's with a law firm trying to collect money for a bank I over drafted he says if I dont pay by monday ill have 2 felony warrants out for my arrest. Please help me out.
