Indian voice said he's the manager of sth sth company n i wont their contest. i was like can u repeat the name of ur company coz it doesn't sound familiar n he hung up...

I received a call from this number about 4 months ago, a guy with Indian accent told me that a ballot with my number in it had been selected bla bla bla. I told the guy that I've never filled a ballot or coupon, not even a survey in my life. Then he said that maybe some member of my family did it for me.... mmm, ok? I asked them to send the info to my email, the guy said he would right away and four months later, no email, but surprise, the same guy is calling me again today with the same story.

Too forced and unprofessional to be real. I wonder what they are getting from doing this?

got a call from 1-773-828-4426 this morning and was told that my number had been entered into a draw and i have won 2 prizes. 2 trips then was asked if i remembered entering my number i said no i asked what was the name on the ballot he said there was no name just a number then real fast he started asking was married i said no also told him that i don't drive or fly he asked if i was over 65 i told him no i am not. i asked him what the catch was and he rambled out something i couldn't understand then he asked me if i made over 70.000 a year i paused and thought wow that's strange why would he ask me that knew right there and then it was a scam o told him no and he hung up real fast.... makes me wonder how he got my cell phone number

Received a call from this number today.  Same thing as others have reported.  Guy saying I won something from something I filled out at a mall.  I told him not to call this number again.

Hopefully the more they lie, the more brain cells they lose so its all good. Eventually they'll forget about their own existence.

I'm in Toronto and they just called me. Indian accent, noisy and poor English.  Said I won a vacation and I responded by asking how they got my number.  They said I filled out a ballot, I asked what name is on the ballot.  They said no name as the ballot was small and only has space for a phone number.  I knew right there and then this was a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call this morning, long silence before a man voice came on the line. it was very noisy and diffcult to understand.

Just got the call and I was congratulated for winning a trip to 1 of 2 locations, but I live in Canada so there is no way I filled out the ballot that was picked.  I was barely able to understand him, however I did understand something about a Time Share and he asked me to verify whether I was married and whether I was under the age of 65.  Lets see whether his manager calls me.

They called me twice and several times before - i did not with them.

You are now one of my favorite posters.  You are absolutely correct.  You do know that you can filter your home phone as well as your cell phone?  

Of course, the best filter is right behind your eyes and between your ears.  If everyone consistently used that filter our spam/scam problems really would come to a screeching halt. : )

Thank you to all who post info about these scammers. I too got this call on my cellphone today at noon. I have a call filter that does not let through any callers that are not on my accept list. While I'm sure these scammers use an automated calling system, I am also sure that if everyone used a filter on their cellphone, scammers like them would go out of business PDQ. You do not need to depend on government or the confidentiality of your cellphone number. Depend on yourself. Get a calls filter for your cellphone.

How do these people get cell phone numbers?  Are the cell phone companies selling their client lists?  Annoying and should be stopped.  How do they call a number in Toronto?  I wouldnt pick up because there would be long distance charges.

Received a call this morning on my cell phone. Told me I had won I prize (apparently my name was drawn from a ballot. I have no memory of submitting my name in any ballot!). The prize was a coupon that could be used at KMart, WalMart and a few other stores (how is that even possible?). I immediately told the person I wasn't interested and the man hung up the phone.

Very diffcult to understand.. Apparantly I had filled out a ballot and was the 'Lucky' winner of a choice
of vacations. Caller was not able to tell me where and when I filled out this ballot.
Advised was not intrested and hung up.
Very annoying

I just got a call from this number as well, this morning, I said "hello, hello" and after a few minutes a recording said "good bye" and hang up...

December 10 2012 @ 9.55am. Received a call on my cell from the above mentioned number. Very annoying! This company should be traced and stopped from making these calls!

an indian accent guy called, and as other mentioned, the line was poor, had to repeat 2-3 times to understand what he was saying. However, he when on "congraulations your ballot have been chosen to won"...then I asked him who won, who is 'that person' you're looking for, what's the name?'. He replied, ummm there's no name just a ballot I HAVE FILLED OUT A LONG TIME AGO at a mall. Really, how did he know that was ME that filled it out A LONG TIME AGO and he told me that I have FORGOTTEN???  A ballot filled with NO NAME??? Really???

I would have played along with it more and question him out, but the line was so poor and choppy that it was so annoying, that I told him to stop and that I'm not interested in and pls remove my number. I urge ppl not to give ur info, not even ur name, and question them before they question you.

They sometimes show 011 77 38284426 to fool you too. I am in Toronto Canada and where do they get my number? So the "contest winning" is international? They are calling people in Canada and USA repeatedly. I wonder if anyone would be stupid enough to get tricked / pay them. They should stop wasting our and their own time.

Just received a call from this number...didn't answer it as I didn't reconize the number but did a call back and got an answering machine saying no one can take my call leave a message.

My experience was quite different... they said i had won a trip for 4 anywhere in North America.. and i was not obliged to buy anything. They asked for the name of my wife or common law partner.. when i told them i was single they said sorry you are not eligible for this.. fack my life.

And yes the man spoke with heavy accent.

Got a call from this number, 8:30am on a Saturday!!!!! Said they are some consumer company and asked me if i filled out any coupon at a store, and then said I won a draw and told me to write down something. I said I dun have time for this n hung up. Man spoke with very heavy accent.

same as above comments....asked for phone number, and to authorize information...that I won a trip. I hung up also

i received these calls Nov 20th 3 times in one minute, didn't answer any of them.  no message left.

Received 4 calls on November 20 @ around 12pm.
