Call from 773-891-2786...this scammer has upgraded their scam to prey on older people.  My elderly neighbor fell victim to this criminal act, and we are still helping her to safeguard her meager life savings and her identity from being stolen by these awful people!!!  They call to inform you that your automobile is no longer insured, then they ask a number of leading questions to acquire details about your last payment to the insurance company.  These people are very, very good at convincing their victim they need to confirm your payment and must have the payment amount, check number, bank account information, routing number, your date of birth, etc., in a way that is very convincing to anyone not suscpecting a scam.  They prey on older people, who may not be as sceptical of this kind of call, and are more trusting when someone says certain details are needed to confirm they have actually paid their bills.  What can be done to catch these people and put them in jail???

I have recieved more than one call from this number. The second I say "hello", a female on the other end says  "Sorry I dailed the wrong number." Sick of people calling my home like this! I am on the "Do not call registry!"

I have received a suspicious message from Premium Gifting.  The message assures me that they are not telemarketers, that they know I am on the "Do Not Call List" so obviously they wouldn't be calling me if they weren't legitimate, that I had won a prize, and that I was eligible for one of four more including a new car.  This is obviously a new scam but I don't have the time or inclination to expose it.  If I had really won a prize, I would receive notice of it in the mail.  Legitimate companies don't act this way.
The number they called from is a Chicago number:  773-891-2786.  As they are in the USA, these people could get into some trouble for pulling scams.  If anyone is interested, take a look at their hinky website: http://premiumgifting.com.
