Answered the phone but the person didn't say anything.

A few weeks ago, I signed up for the do not disturb call but am still getting calls. :(

some body called me from this no and asked about home owner.then hanged up immediately.

I answered and he was like "Can I talk to the home owner?" and I was like "UMM..she's avalible and he was like "Can you tell her the home improvement guy called?" and I was like "can I have you're name please" and he was like "Make sure to tell her the home improvement guy called.My name is Ken". And I was about to say thank you but he hung up.

This number calls me every evening and there is never anyone there.  I have never got a message from them.  Its really frustrating.

He just call me and asked me if I'm the owner of the house of which I'm giving my mailing address. When I told him that's the P.O. Box address he hung up. He told me that he's calling from studio41 or something

Update - I just called the 866 number again and got a live person this time.  She said she'd remove me from the list.  I have my fingers crossed.  She asked if I ever had set up an appointment in the past and I said no, nor would I want to.

I get a call from this Climate Guard Window Co. every day for the last 2 1/2 years.  I tried calling them back but I get a busy signal.  I called the number they leave on the machine (the 866 number) and it says it's no longer in service.  Yet the phone keeps ringing with an infant trying to sleep at home.  So I just signed up with AT&T to have the phone number blocked (along with a couple other solicitor numbers).  So much for do not call list!  Now I have to pay $6 a month to have phone numbers blocked.  So, so frustrating.

no response when you answer,  if you do not answer a computerized vmail is left.   I called the number told them to remove my number from call list and they said no problem???
We shall see.

THIS IS AN TELEMARKETER CALLING I GET CALLS FROM THEM ALL DAILY I HAVE BLOCKED THE NUMBER FROM MY PHONE.

Called and asked if he could speak to the home owner.  I inquired, "May I ask who is calling?"  Either my signal went dead or he hung up.

Left 4 msgs to call the number w/o saying what the call was about or leaving a name.  Caller ID showed the local Chicago number in the previous posts.

I received this call and they asked for my parents, and when I ask who they were they just hang up. Very suspicious.

They leave me recorded voicemails offering their home remodeling services. I live in an effing apartment! And I wouldn't hire someone to remodel my home who uses illegal robodialers, recorded calls, and phone slamming as a marketing tool. Probably not even licensed.

I called these a**les up and politely told them I would like to be taken of their call list.  They said ok then proceded to ask some questions about remodeling.  I said not thanks I just want to be taken off your mailing list.  They said ok then hung up.  So I called back and spoke with a different individual and told them I would please like to be removed from their call list.  They said ok and hung up.

whoever they ask for, tell them they died last week. This has worked very well in the past. Or, you can say that the person moved & give an old address or a fake address, like the addison street address the blues brothers used(it was wrigley field). good luck :)

I called back & they wanted to talk to the homeowner about their showroom & free home estimates.  Asked to be taken off the list since whenever they call they never speak.  He seemed put off by my request.  It's as if they want you to call & then get mad when you don't want to be bothered by their silence - strange.
