Another online complaint cites: "original call shows 718-332-3861 on caller id. When you call the number they leave 708-976-4477 they want $9 a minute. It's totally automated"

Another online complaint noted that their caller ID attributed one of the reported originating numbers, 732-264-4132, as being owned by a Jennifer Petsch.

how do they get away with this? What can we do to stop them?

Had a message on my recorder.  Telling me how there are post office jobs, available, and also government and state jobs too.  They repeated the 976-4477 number about 5 times, and how it is the job finder.  Yeah right a job finder with a prefix of 976.  Just what kind of "job" could this be???

Got a call from 718 332 3861.  Did not answer.  It was a recorded message from  the "Job Line." I am also on do-not-call lists. They should not be calling me.

again a recording saying to call (773) 976-4477.  i am sure that this is a line where they receive large amounts per minute.  can't we do anything about this?

Just had a call like this to call the "Job Line" at 976-4477.  The caller ID is from New York.  I reported it to the Do Not Call registry, since my phone # is registered with them.  Next step I can think of would be NY Attorney General since it is crossing state lines - calling Chicago from NY...

I received a phone call from 718-934-0513 with this same annoying message to call 976-4477 to get government jobs it didn't even include an area code. How can  I report this nuisance and block the number.

Keeps calling at least 4 to 5 times a day.  We are a school and we do not know how to get this call from not calling us daily.

I just recieved that same call on my work phone. Never called it back because anything with 976 is a huge charge.

Don?t know whether this is coincidence or not, but started getting these same obnoxious calls after visiting a job site to give a referral for a friend.    The web site was permanenthirecareers.com    and the phone call is from   718 332 2983 (on the caller ID) telling me over and over to CALL THE JOBLINE  976-4477.

Unsolicited call as well.  Caller ID showed as 718-442-0684.  It is a shame that unemployed people are being targeted for scams.

Got an annoying, insistent call from a recorded New Jersey-sounding gruff male voice urging me, or anyone with a pulse to call the Jobline.

I got a call urging me to call the job line 976-4477 the message just keeps repeating itself.

i have been reicieving this call on my caller id it shows 718-332-1679 and they livea message saying there postal job opening call 976-4477 they called  today and about 2 months ago same message a male voice ? so this is fake i belive ?

received a call this week from 777 976 4477, which irked me, since I am on All do not call lists I have ever seen published.

I was going to call back and complian, but the 900 number put me off,
although I had thought 900 numbers Began with 900 as in 800 number. Just
in case, I went to the computer for a clue instead.

Same recorded message---at my work phone. Odd thing is, just last night I provided my work number to a software site (in California). I had to enter it to view their demo. Maybe a coincidence.

I am receiving calls from Silverleaf Resorts every thirty minuets from 8:am until 8:pm. on my cell phone. I am not nor have I ever been affilliated with this company. I never received 'any' calls from advertisements until I registered with the do not call line. Now I receive at least two a day on top of the calls from Silverleaf Resorts.

My call came from 732-264-4268 stating to call 976-4477 for jobs. It repeated the number 3 times.  This is the same method pressure marketing and tactics use to get it to stick in your head.  Chances are if they repeat the number about 3 times, it's spam and useless.
