I just got another call. Recorded message saying they are Mitch Romney supporters in need of donations. I'll try using the "block caller" feature on my phone.

This call is in fact a political scam from my boss and I to try to dupe money for our corrupt campaign. These funds along with acorn and soros along with barak....I mean barry's false identity and fake certificate of live birth, which would not get you a driver's license in some states, is our only hope for re-election. Since we are the worst pair in presidential history to occupy The White House.

On a side note those who keep saying Mitt would not endorse robo calls or whatever or it could not be about him...I do get a lot of robo calls about Mitt. CONSTANTLY they are just as annoying though they are usually from some number that is labeled DC. Just makes me want to vote for him even less with each one.This one had cell phone and MA.

Got a call also. No message (gee, that was a surprise... NOT). Beware, just because these calls claim to be for the benefit of X doesn't mean that they aren't scammers just trying to bilk whoever answers the phone. So don't be mad at Romney, he doesn't put these people up to this. And this happens on both sides. Yup, some numbers are reported as being from the Republicants camp and if you search there are just as many annoying calls that come from numbers purporting to be in support of the Demoncraps. And I'd bet few have any TRUE affiliation with any REAL political party. They're just digging for dough. I'd think any legitimate fund raising organization would have a REAL call back number. But then again, I don't put much beyond any politician.

Now for my little microcents worth of political rant... before we can fix what's REALLY wrong with this country we need to get over 2 long held myths, 1: Demoncraps are NOT the friends of the working class, 2: Republicants are NOT conservatives. Any doubt, ya ever seen a poor (as in lack of monetary funds) politician??? They are ALL self serving RICH people. TERM LIMITS for EVERY M.F. elected official, and a tax system that is equitable for everyone from the top to the bottom.  And if you aren't willing to try to help yourself (that does NOT include helping yourself to MY s***) then you don't deserve squat.

I know people from every walk of life, every social and economic class. And there is a mix of all races and social origins throughout. NO race has a lock on disadvantage and despair. I've met people from every race that started out dirt floor poor and now are in the top 1% financially.  If YOU want something different go out and WORK for it. Nobody deserves to have anything handed to them. Yup, starting out financially privileged certainly is an advantage, but it's not a guarantee. And starting out having nothing doesn't mean there are not opportunities to end up on top. Just means you have to work a little harder and be a little more determined.

Got dead air for 10 secs then a political add saying they want to raise $5 million dollars to get their message out to stop Obama.  That doesn't mean it's actually a request for  political contributions.  It could easily be a scammed just trying to sucker Republican supporters.  Either way, I didn't ask to be called and I wish they'd leave me alone.  

And as for the commens about Mitt vs. Obama or Dems vs. Republicans - you're all wrong.

This country will never right itself until corporations are no longer considered people and money is not considered a form of free speech.  Once businesses can't "vote" with their money the American people can finally start having a voice in how this country is won.  But the wealthy and the mega-corporations have more money (speech) to throw around than all of us combined.  Until that stops, it doesn't matter who we vote for.

I received a call from this number about an hr. ago. Left no message and when I called it back, the recording said "call can not be completed as dialed...blah..blah..blah.." This was on my personal cell. Didn't notice if the others were cell or land line. Doesn't really matter does it??

Starts talking in a recored gibberish then a recording of Mitt this is a scam and they need to stop calling people whom are Mitt-----------

Hmmmm, the responses on this post are interesting. I agree it is NOT a political call. Think about it, if Gov. Romney (or anyone else) is going to pay for a robo call then you can be dang sure they will speak. I must admit I chuckled regarding John's comment. These low information constituents are, indeed inner city dwellers. They don't care about what is good for the country, all they want is more free stuff.

By those low information voters, surely you aren't referring to the poor inner city voter that votes for the left because they're just so well-informed.

Yeah, being suckers for socialist oppression makes them "smart" -- they think their Ivy League indoctrination makes them an intellectually distinguished member of society.  Voting for someone who was never vetted isn't what I would call "smart".  Oh, and as it turns out, a huge liberal journalist uncovered that most of Obama's "memoirs" are chock full of fabrications, so we can't really go by that, either.

I called up a toll free number I'd seen on the boob tube on a right wing political ad full of lies. No one answered but it allowed you to record, which I did, with a vulgar diatribe. Later the calls started. I don't answer numbers I don't know. At first I was annoyed but let them ring, never leaving a message. Then I realized that these fools were passing my number around to their pals, as a potential, legitimate lead. Now I smile when getting a call from any of these numbers (below) because as long as they and their machines are wasting time on me they aren't using that time to dupe "low information voters" with greedy lies and unamerican agenda. Not Romney's number,  his calls come from area code 202.  202-719-0608 in fact.

This annoying number with 774 area code did not respond even when I made plenty of noise.  When I called the number back, recording said can not be reached as dialed.  Oh well.

I found out with these calls that if you just make a little noise a recording starts.  If you just wait it's nothing, Guess the ultra rich are trying to save their batteries, those greedy b*****ds.

I didn't answer since I only answer certain numbers on this phone.  It was a Massachussets number so figured it was mittens.  He can eat my shorts after i poop in them.
