I told him to call me and they never answered.

reek of a Craigslist scam. I DID reoly back, via e-mail and text, "cash only."  We'll see.

So I got my boat for sale on Craigslist and got contacted with this message " Hello, my name is Mark and am just asking to make sure maybe you still have it for sale, if you still have it please I would like you to get back to me trough email cause i will not be able to update you in my phone so dont even bother to reply on this line so email me at markfrank126@gmail.com" .
The guy wants to buy it for his son as a birthday present and want's to use PayPal......total scam folks!!!

I received a text message from this person in reference to my item for sale on craigslist.  Just like everyone else I believe this person is a scammer so beware. They told me  I could only email them and if I tried to message them back by text message they would not answer my call.  

I just got the exact same text regarding my bicycle.  The guy said his name was Mark. I replied and he gave a bunch of excuses why he needs to pay me extra in Paypal so that I can pay the excess to his "shipping" guy via Western Union.  Sounded like a scam so I offered alternative, legitimate, shipping options that he could use.  Ultimately I told him to stop wasting my time.  Scam.

Got a text from this number, wants to buy my car on craigslist, wants to send additional money thru paypal, and have me use 'additional' money to pay the shipper, cuz for some reason he can't pay the shipper.

I just got a text from this person asking about my car for sale on Craigslist telling me that his name is Andrew and "I would like you to get back to me trough email cause i will not be able to update you in my phone so dont even bother to reply on this line so email me at markfrank124@gmail.com" Sounded like a scam to me, so I looked up the number on here. I won't be emailing him....sounds sketchy.

in a text, this person asked for the price of my motorcycle (advertised via craigslist ad). then, they included the price from the ad in the text itself.

This person was askin for the condition and final price of my truck. Then went on saying that I'm contacting you so you won't be disappointed. After that the person started talkin about pay pal . I told the person to call me and out came a million excuses y the cant call. Who has a cell phone that can only text? I hope ur house catches on fire and u try texting 911!
