I got a call from a local number and it was a recording but sounded conversational... He said oh hi I heard you found my cat... I didn't respond and then it said oh great where did you find her.... I quickly hung up
This happened a month ago and I called the number back and the person on the other end had no clue

These are total scams!!!! DO NOTTTT ANSWER THESE CALLS OR CALL BACK! they pretend to be dirty sex callers and then they somehow start billing you for calls!! DO NOT ANSWER THESE!!

Jyst received a call from ghat hat number and they didn't say a word. Let take it a little further. My latest site I visited that requested my number was a Chinese restaurant in Portsmouth and a sports website. Have any of you done that prior to the prank call?

I just got a call from this number and I have an iphone 4s. It sounded like some guy or kid who is mentally challenged. I could not understand him and told him he must have the wrong number and hung up on the little creepy dude.

My call is a result of a Match.com contact. I was suspicious but I went along with it. Very bad connection and a foreign, maybe Puerto Rican or South American older female voice.
Said she was living in the USA but definitely not from that lousy phone connection.

This number kept calling and calling till i finally aswered it and it was asking for a friend of mine whom i have not spoken with in years ,,very spooky and the man did not want to tell me who they were they just hung up

I have been getting it also... They never say anything!!! Lol... There are apps that do this kind of thing. It is probably a friend if they say your name and know your info. If not it was probably a prank app with a random pranker on the other end. Yay for technology and new age prank calls!!

I get calls from this number all the time...the recent call I got ,was at 230am and I was called 52 x in less than an hour...please help this. Not the first time..please make them STOP

All it is is someone intentionally blocking their number by using the *67 prefix. The number that appears spells out Private Number. This is happening only on Sprint i-phones and must be a glitch in how a blocked number is interpreted by the phone or sprint system.
Try it.  Use another phone and call your Sprint I-fone using *67 before the number.  Your Sprint i-fone will display 7748283686237 as the number received.  These numbers correspond to Private Number on the alpha-numberic dial pad.  Simple, nothing spooky about it and certainly not of foreign origin.

I literally just got a call from that number and it was a girl and I heard laughing/coughing in the background.

When I said "hello, who is this?" she said "What do you mean 'who is this', I'm a female!". I continued asking "who is this?" and "you have the wrong number" but all she replied with was a "Okay... I'm pregnant".

Finally, just before she hung up, she said "Okay, I love you, Bye!" This was in the middle of the night.

Gotta admit though, she did sound cute XD I should've gone with it and asked for her real number.

I, too, have received phone calls from this number.  I don't have any idea how my number was obtained, but they called back to back for 10 minutes.  I finally turned the phone off because it was so disruptive!! The couple of time that I answered the phone, there was dead silence. It was very frustrating for me and my family.

I got a call @ 3.15 this morning , was really scared because my daughter in law and son are expecting their first baby and thought it was them calling to tell me it;s time...This guy and i use that slangly..threatened to beat me up and smash my teeth if i didn't take care of my dog..i don't even own a dog....called me alot of bad names which i choose to not repeat, and said i will find u b***h...there also was a girl laughing in the background...scared the chit outta me...anyway i hope they catch these a***oles and do something about it...BUT i want at least 5 minutes alone with them...lol
