I've been getting calls from this MA number for weeks.  There are multiple numbers that they are using.  They ask you to press 1 if you want information about a free home security system or 9 if you don't.  They hang up when you press either number.  A call back to that number asks you to press 9 to be taken off their list.

Same as Riley from 2/10 -- a recorded telemarketer asking me to press 1 if I'm concerned about home security, or 9 if I'm not.

Whew, last week I called 888-556-7682 and they have since stopped the phone calls.

Has called my cell phone 4 times, last 2 weeks.  Always calls me at 10:30P or later, my time.  Left message twice.  Says his name is John Pearson with Lighthouse, "a data service provider for Google" and wants to help me get more business through my website.  My cell phone is my listed business phone.  Gave me this number to call back and says it's his direct, private line:  800-219-6019.  I did not call it.  Interesting side note:  on the messages left, just before he begins talking, there is a really strange hum-buzz noise.  It doesn't sound automated, but it might be.

When I answer, they hang up.

I got a call around 1.30am a couple of weeks ago.  I picked up the phone and spoke to 'John Pierson' but got no response as this is an automated message.  A clever message as it sounds so 'real' and as if the person is calling live.  There is such a company but he does not work for them.  Obviously another scam.  Don't return their call!  Annoying to say the least...

Oh great.. this is a robodialer-looking-to-clone-its-self-with-more-c r a p callers.

Its a company that installs ADT alarms calling from 774-907-9209 to first screen you and see if you have an interst in home protection....if so they rudely hang up and call later from another number 339--502-6694 and try the sales pitch....they are trying to weed out the people who want to get all the way to the top to complain.


Direct all complaints to ADT alarms.....they are the ones who let the affiliates do this.  www.adt.com/

Sad thing is I wanted an alarm system for my business and I just wanted to hear the pitch before giving my address....I wouldnt give personal info so she hung up.   ADT gott a call from me and I will email them daily until they quit the calls to me......if everyone will email ADT alarms for the BAD salemanship or the way they let business on thier behalf be conducted then they may do it because of the complaints....everyone is calling the wrong people to stop ADT alarms....ADT Alarms is the problem....call ADT Alarms.

They called us late last night. just completed the FCC form as we are ona do not call list and they are blocked on my line from QWEST.

We got the exact same "John Pierson" call at 2:23 in the morning.  According to my mother, this is not the first call she's received.  We are on the Do Not Call registry, so I went right to their website and filed a complaint.  Their website is www.donotcall.gov.  Complaints can also be filed online with the FCC, though I don't have their address handy.

Got call at 2:28 am this morning & my heart went to my throat as our 2 yr old grandson was just diagnosed with a peanut allergy the other day, so I naturally thought something had happened...

Just disgusting.

No one was on the line. Just dead air. The caller id said "Protection Center".

I called it back and got recording: "Hello and thank you for calling. If you would like to be placed on our do not call list, please press 1 now".

I hung up as I'm sure this started after I earlier got a daytime call from 603 214 3669 CN MKRCH. It was at 11 am and recording said "if your are on a do not call list and want to be removed from our calling list, pls press 1 now"  

I pressed "1" like a fool and their recording now had my number and repeated it back to me and hung up with a thank you.

Some thank you. I need my sleep and plan on taking my phone off the hook now every nite. Thank God my cell phone hasn't been screwed with ....yet.

I received a call from this number at 2:28am this morning, here is the complete text of the voice mail message:
"Hey boss, john pierson with lighthouse, we're a data service provider for google, i was trying to get a hold of you last week but i was lookin' at your reviews on google maps and also suggestions on how we can help you with that, so when you get a chance, give me a call here 800-219-6019 [repeat] that's my direct line, look forward to speaking with you on this and obviously get you more business, talk with you in a bit, bye."
At first I just thought it was a wrong number, but glad I checked here.  Obviously this is part of some elaborate (and stupid, probably criminal) phishing scam.  I suppose the whole point must be to get us to call that number - who knows, but somehow that must generate revenue for the culprit.

I get these same calls & was able to track down Engage Tel (307-223-0458) as the supposed carrier.  U can only speak to a machine giving your # and the # that's calling you for them to stop it.  I also requested that they call me back asap & while I was speaking to Cablevision -my carrier- about this being a national problem- I got a call from 603-214-3669 "TN REMOVAL LINE " .  Also received a call from 903-368-2029 just before the removal line#. I didn't interrupt my conversation with the Trouble shooting specialist at Cable to receive these calls but had someone else call them back on a cell and got a busy signal.  This means they can call out only.    The cable company said it sounds like a telemarketer - but who would call and not talk to you.  Per the Cable specialist- I'm filing a police report of harrassing calls then call cable back and they can legally contact the carrier for this 774-907-9209#
PLEASE DO THE SAME THING WITH YOUR CARRIER.  LET'S STOP THIS COMPANY FOR EVERYONE.  DON'T BELIEVE FOR A SECOND THAT THEY WON'T JUST GET ANOTHER # AND HARRASS US AGAIN

Called last night.

John Pierson, Lighthouse, "data provider for Google". "Looking at Google maps reviews, suggestions on how we can help you with that". Using the implication that I have bad reviews on Google maps (Places?) to lure me into calling back, LOL. He left a callback number: 800-219-6019. Called at 11:30PM.

They called at 11:30PM last night. No one was there when I answered.

Got the same call.  I missed it, you know since it was 1:30am CST and I was groggy and could not answer my phone in time.  It did go to voice mail and they recorded a message, so I complained to the FCC about it.  Even if they are a telemarketer, they should adhere to proper hours of annoying me and not call my "Do Not Call" number.  It's the reason why I registered it as a "Do Not Call" number, because I don't want to talk to telemarketers.  

I'm guessing they skimmed my number from my registered domain and then called me to sell me Google search optimization.  He said that they saw my reviews on Google Maps (which I have never written a review) and wanted to help me with my business.  The number they called is my personal cell phone, not a business phone.

Called at 1:30am!!!!  No message, just dead phone.

Another 2:30 am call here.
Wish we can find this guy and lock him in a room with dozens of phones.  Then have them ring every 10 minutes 24/7 for a month.

They called at 2 am and just hung up. Surely this must border on harassment.

I too got a phone call from them this morning at 2:30AM. I didn't get to the phone before they hung up so I've no idea what they wanted. I'm furious.

it's 2:30 AM and they just called from that number - outrageous!  i did not answer, it's to a phone that is not used a lot in the house

I did not answer the phone when this number called.  Called back and a message said to press 1 if I wanted to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list, so I did.  I believe this is a survey/telemarketing company.
