I just got a call from this number. I pressed #1 as instructed to speak with a customer service agent. The women asked for the make, year and VIN# of my vehicle. When I asked instead who she represented, she hung up.
Is this a scam?

This mysterious number from Bellingham Massachusetts has been haunting and annoying me now for some time. It's strange that even the local area white pages can't give me any useful info. So naturally I blocked it.

got a call my cell from this # yesterday....I don't answer any calls if I don't recognize it....so I don't get charged...I always google the # to see if it's a scam or telemarketer and then enter it as SCAM on my cell....think I'm up the SCAM !# now

The Do Not Call List is useless, the unwanted/unsolicited calls continue.
When you report the unwanted calls you'll get mail stating there isn't much they can do because they don't consider it a problem if they only call you once or twice.
I guess you have to get one hundered calls before they do something?

I answered the phone and nobody said anything so I told jack***es not to call my number again.
My caller ID shows it as a vehicle warranty co, well that's funny because I haven't had a vehicle since 2007.
And what's the sense of being on the do not call this if the jack***es continue calling?

the warranty is about to expire on my car [i didn't listen to the rest] they don't know me and they don't know i got a car! stop the scam!!!!!!!!

Must be a scam because I actually just canceled my insurance, so could not have been calling to tell me that.

First time today for me in Canada, British Columbia, it was a recording telling me that my vehicle warranty had expired and that this was their second attemt to contact me, and that I neede to press 1 to speak to a representative or 2 for other options, and then it hung up. it is either spam or a wrong numer they called.
