I'm in Canada and just got this call on my cellphone, but didn't answer. No message.

I also live in Canada... they called my house phone and I hung up... 10 minutes later they called my cell phone and I hung up on them again.. the number has been on my phone 4 times since then.. this is really getting out of hand

I just got a call but didn't answer because of the odd number that showed up on call display.  I always do a google search when strange numbers call me.  Interesting to see others have received this call too.

Just got a call from this number too. I've been called by them previously when I didn't even have a car. Guaranteed phishing scam. I'm in Alberta. Doesn't Canada have an agency or something to pursue these kinds of matters?

yeah this number rang mee today too. im in canada and i dont own a car either. i still wouldnt have answered it, even if i hadnt been working and missed it.

got a call from that same number 'unknown name' Mon nite 8:30 pm Atlantic time in Nova Scotia; didn't answer; the area code is Newton, Mass. - from these posts, sounds like scammers taking advantage of the Toyota recall/scare

the same here: warranty bullocks. effing scammers. new brunswick here, got called today, couple of hours ago.

Phoned my cellphone Feb 1st, 2010 5:26 pm.  I pressed one, answered by "Winston".  Asked for year make and model of my vehicle.  I declined, and asked who he was representing, and he hung up on me.

I also got a call and these guys are scammers, they want your credit card information so they can supposedly activate the registration immediately for you, and once they get it they charge about 500.00 on it.  If you have given your card info to them CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!

they called me too on my cell phone with this number, on my cell phone, im in nova scotia canada and only 18! They left a message saying that i need to call back to insure my vehical. I dont even have a drivers licence.

I JUST got called too! I'm 18, a University student, and don't even HAVE a vehicle. I pressed one, told them I didn't own a vehicle and they hung up on me.

Got called at 10:57am Feb 1 on my business phone.  Also about vehicle warranty.  Didn't 'press 1', just listened, and call died after a 1 minute total duration.

I don't have a vehicle under warranty.

Got a call on my work number saying my warranty is about to expire and needs to be reactivated.  Talked to an "opperator" and he wanted my vehicle year, make and model info.  I asked what manufacturer he works for, and he said "all of them".  I said I can't give that info to just anyone and he hung up.

Anyone else have these people calling you?
