This was a message in Spanish asking me, as a Latino (I am white) to vote for Barack Obama.

I just realized that a Mitt Romney ad is on top of this banner, giving it's stupid web address and asking for Contribution. Do my turds count? Thats what I would like to Contribute to this frigging number and it's sponser. OBAMA all the way now.

Okay..here us the horrible thing about the Do Not Call List..Once I placed my cell phone and house phone on it, I started to receive a bunch of " research "" calls. It's horrible. Glad that I can block then with my phone. My cell phone..if I don't reconize the number I don't answer it, Not to mention the political calls on top of the other crap that is excluded. It is considered as mention by the other callers onh here that they are indeed excempt and they are the worse offenders of them all. They call late at night , in the early morning.. Tired of it. UGH! I can only block 30 calls on my home phone.

No name or message from this number.  Whether they actually are doing political surveys or not, the way they act I assume they're scammers.

Got a call from this number. It left a political message on my answering machine. Never saw so many political calls until this year's election. They call from hundreds of different numbers. I can block area codes and prefixes so they just go to a ring on a non existent phone. That's where this one is going.

This call from Reno was a computerized poll about the 2012 presidential elections. Thank goodness my main # is now with Google Voice. They provided a transcript of the call.

They get your number by dialing random numbers.  Your combination of numbers is just as likely to end up in the mix as a listed number.  They are not calling "you" - they are calling an area code, possibly a prefix, and then random numbers.  

You can't escape this kind of call by being unlisted or putting yourself on an opt-out list.  Hang up or don't answer in the first place.  Pretty simple.

GOT A CALL FROM 775-200-0939

got call at 6;45 PM.  did not answer.  they did not leave a message.   Blocking this number with my phone.

Just got a phone call from this number, when prompted to leave a message on my answering machine all I heard was a dial tone.

Get calls frequently...unfortunately, Political calls and Non profit groups are excluded from the do not call lists.  If there is a live person on the line I request they remove my name.  If they continue to call for the poll I feed them garbage.  If it's a recorded message requesting responses by the number, I press  random numbers.  It sucks but there's little that can be done since the politicians passed the ruling.

On 11/16/2011 I received a call from this number. They left a recording about taking a poll. I did not listen to the entire message and deleted it. Because "whocallsme.com" identified them as the "Democratic Party in Nevada" I sent them an email, demanding that they take my number off of their call list. I have taken all measures I know of to deter political calls, but I doubt that it will do any good.

We get a call from this number maybe four times a week.  There is no sound on the other end.  When I try to call this number a recording says the mailbox is full.  It is very annoying and I want it to stop.

This caller hangs up and does not leave a message. If I do not know the phone number I do not answer.  If someone wants to get a hold of me they should leave a message.

Call from this number for the first time, ID showed "unknown name." AnnoyedInReno here seems to have identified them totally and completely. Thanks for that.

Calling multiple times per day.  Tried calling number above but got recording to leave message.  Tried answering one of the calls.  No one responded and call hung up.

Today it was the Democratic National Committee calling to poll the election Reid vs Angle.

They started calling me too. 775 is for Nevada but they are not in Nevada. They just leave static on the message and no voice. No way am I answering.

This is the NSBA - National Small Business Association calling to sell Credit. They use different telephone numbers and they call sometimes several times a day. I recommend NEVER giving out personal info to ANYONE - especially to these people!

I have received constant calls from 775-200-0939 that rings only once then hangs up.  When I tried calling this number back I get "...your call cannot be put through at this time..." crap.  Why are they calling?  Who the hell knows...but they are annoying and borderline harrasment.  And I don't understand how they got my number as it is unlisted.
