They rang for about a second then hung up

Got a call on cellphone. Rang for a while. No message left.

Called and told me I had won a Carnival Cruise to the Bahamas.  I got the same call from 701-934-8989 half an hour earlier.  Look up the 701 number on scam.com for more info.  These people are crooks.

THIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number,  or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. These guys are THIEVES!!!    I REPORTED THEM TO THE FBI!  They want you to just pay the tax on a free Cruise!  But they want your card number and there is no free cruise!  Press them on who they are and "They represent Carnival, Norwegian and Princess Cruise lines."  He said I would get up to 16 tickets to "help fill up these half empty cruise ships."  But, when I said that I would like to pay through a web site because he called me and I did not call him!  He them hung up on me.   Tried to call the number back immediately and it said the number had been disconnected!  Tried it again after a few minutes and it said to leave a message with my number and a "Cruise agent would call me back."   I checked them (him) out!

said i won a free cruise but would have to pay 188dollars today only. the 188 is supposedly for govt taxes

Keep getting repeat phone calls from this number stating that I won a free cruise. What a scam.

I received this call this evening. The caller ID read only "ASSOC." I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Received recorded msg stating i was specially picked to win a carnival cruise.  I hung up

I keep winning cruises from this number and other similar numbers. obvious scam.

7 oclock in the morning and doesn't leave a message
