What's the problem that you have with the Digiphone recommendation? I was thinking of buying one, based on their website and other recommendations on the web. All of the other phone blocking devices seem to have significant problems, judging by the ratings and comments on Amazon.
By the way, you're the one who appears to be the "spamming A$$WIPE", since you lied about Phone Tray Free. It's called "Phone Tray", it costs $30, and it requires having a computer connected to the phone line 24/7. I don't wish to have my computer turned on all day and night.

called and did not leave a message

Got a call on 11/2/2013 from 775-219-8813 Victoria Proper. Knew it was a scam right away because they offered to lower my credit card interest rates since I do not have any credit cards! I'm sick of this person calling so I did answer and told them I want off their calling list. And as usual for these scumbags they hung up. I'm thinking of calling them a hundred times in the middle of the night..... all night long to see how they like it.

Good advice, but if people do that Tom in Oshkosh will lose his commissions and possibly go on welfare where we all will have to support him. Also think of the many Digitone factory worker that would lose their jobs if production slows down due to decreased demand.

You, sir, are just another spamming A$$WIPE!
Just download Phone Tray Free folks. Doesn't cost a cent and it works great!

Received a call from this number on 10-25-2013 at 9:24 am. It was a robo call saying that I had been "chosen" to receive a free senior alert health system along with a free gift card for a certain amount of $$'s. This has been termed as a scam (DUH) and has been on the news recently. They just want your SS # and other personal info. I hung up before it went any further. I have received a call like this several times. Usually they state they are from "Medical Alert" which is a valid company but is not in anyway doing calls like this. This has also been stated on the recent news.

Do not EVER press whatever number they say to press. All this does is let them know they have an active phone. Never answer the phone call. Just let it ring.
ichy7 2013-10-25 16:29:39 Unknown
Yeah, but then they will continue to call you too.
ichy7 2013-10-25 16:28:49 Telemarketer
Yep - I too get their calls, but.... If you like me have "Caller ID" then DO NOT PICKUP THE PHONE ! What is wrong with you ? All you are doing is giving them the assurance that they have reached a working number and then they will continue to call you and then sell your number to other scammers too ! I keep track of each call and check it out on Goggle. Then if they persist I BLOCK them with my phone service. Check it out.

Caller ID showed Out of Area. Left no message.

Always answer and then ask them to hold on one second, then just set the phone down. They will eventually catch on and hang up

Received a call on 24 October 2013 at 11:25 a.m. Caller ID said PROPER VICTORIA and the number. A recorded message of some type that was so weak in volume that I couldn't understand anything they were saying except that it was something to do with a credit card. I just hung up and added them to my Pro Call Blocker blacklist so if they ever call again my phone won't even ring.

You are wasting your own time trying to waste his time because he is wasting your time. Isn't that akin to driving around a parking lot for 15 minutes trying to find a space close to the store to save time????
DALA 2013-10-23 16:02:50 Telemarketer
Robocalling scammers using spoofed caller ID that says Proper Victoria; call themselves "Card Member Services" in their message and provide a fake warning message to make you think they're part of your credit card company. They're not. Just hang up and block them, if you can. donotcall.gov does nothing useful to stop them, but filed a complaint anyway.

Same for me. Received a call from (775) 219-8813 from Reno Nevada.
They wanted to reduce credit card debt. Started by asking how many CC cards I owned and which types of cards. Then also wanted total amounts on each card and asked if the interest rates were over 10%. Then he wanted the expiration dates. I did not give him any accurate info (I hope everyone that reads this did not get ANY accurate info as well). I asked him for the name of the company. He took a couple seconds to grab something and then rambled on about he works for a company that helps people save money on their credit cards debt. I asked for the company name....uh, uh he said and then hung up. When I called back, I received non voice mail message and the mail box was full.
It is probably a free "Google" phone number. Anyone can get one based from any location. I wish these guys would get caught but will probably only get a slap on the hand if they get caught.

It's "Member Services" offering to lower the rates on credit cards.
Lying sacks of excrement. They spoof the caller ID. They are criminals ; and domestic terrorists.
There should be a bounty on their head.
What the H-E double L is Eric Holder good for if he cannot round up these people and put them in pens?
John 2013-10-21 20:47:56 Unknown
Wasting the card service scammer's time with false information can be productive, but thinking it will cost them anything but their time is foolish, as the calls cost them little or nothing.
The Owl 2013-10-21 17:01:58 Unknown
This number called this afternoon at 12:30 Oct 21, 2013. Caller ID only said Reno, Nevada, no name. They left no message and are now on the call block list.

You people are goofy with your "Do Not Call" whining.
Beware ! ! ! They Are Not Who They Claim To Be - This Is A Subversive Attempt To Verify Who You Are.
The Only Way To Stop These Kinds Of Calls Is To Make Them Pay. Always Answer - They Have To Pay For Completed Call Plus Their Wasted Time. Keep Them Talking As Long As Possible With Fake Info So They Have To Pay More.

The Do Not Call List DOES NOT WORK! For this reason, it has sponsored a contest to come up with a service to block these scammers. One of the winners is NOMOROBO. The good thing about this service is that it has over million phone #s that robo callers use in their database and continue to add more as we speak. When you sign up for this FREE service, you can expect these robo calls to be blocked while regular calls pass thru with no problems. Google this service and read up on the details on how to sign up. The site is now working and I can tell you that today, I had four robo calls that were blocked. My phone only rang once every time there is a robo call, that's it. Non- robo calls pass thru as usual. For now we can enjoy a reprieve until the scammers figure out a different technology to counter it. The NOMOROBO is an evolving technology and hopefully this will be the "silver bullet" that we all are hoping for.

Tom in Oshkosh either has a financial interest in Digitone or a very strange relationship with the device.

This is a recorded message from "cardholder services" wanting credit card numbers. They call every day. They are scammers.

These people are completed jerks, I pressed 1 just to tell them to take me off the list, they call daily. I told the guy HE was being recorded and to Remove me. He said, "I'm being recorded? So the dude starts making rapper back ground affects. OMG. Needless to say I had a few choice words. My caller ID said Reno NV.

I also got the call, but I didn't mind the call, Why, because I bought a Digitone Call Blocker. www.digitone.com The first time they call, it rings my phone and the call comes through. I then block the number and the next time they call, my phone doesn't even ring and the blocker hangs up on them. You can even block entire area codes. I have it setup to block any incoming calls with the 855 area code. The blocker keeps track of all calls, good and bad ones. Then I like to check to see who got hung up on just for fun like I am now.
You need to buy one of these, you?ll like it. No monthly fees either
