I was called by 775-229-1054. I have them BLOCKED on my phone. I tried the service above and I guess I don't have that option, but...if you have a set of phones in your house with a wireless Base system you can still BLOCK Numbers. You need Caller ID on your system.

To Block a number with YOUR phone at home (not going through a phone company) you might want to look in the instructions that came with your phone. Mine is a Panasonic and you block numbers like this:

When the call has stopped ringing look at the Caller ID Info. When you can see the number (in this case it was 775-229-1054) press SAVE. A second menu appears with the option to SAVE or BLOCK, select BLOCK. It then asks to confirm by selecting YES. It confirms that 775-229-1054 (or whatever number you put in) has been BLOCKED. From then on when that number calls, your phone will just ring once and BLOCK the call automatically. So when your phone rings from now on, let it ring at least once. If it's a BLOCKED Call, it will just stop ringing. Most newer wireless phones in your home have this option. I can put up to 30 numbers in the phone. I have used all of them at times around election time. You can later remove some and just put the really annoying numbers on your system.

Called Feb 17, 2014, listed as Unknown Name  at 10:19 am.  I never answer the phone and have turned off my answering machine forever.  I live in the Portland, Oregon area.

Al Franken holds a public office.  That's far more troublesome to me than annoying phone calls.

Robocalls are illegal! Go to FTC website and report each call:

Also, block the number with your phone service provider.
And, try ClassAction.Org to report the scoundrels.

Another call blocked. At this rate, my limit of blocking 250 numbers will soon be full.

On the do not call list but I keep getting calls

Who is behind this caller... 775-229-1054? I'll find out sooner or later, as I always do. You DO NOT want me as an enemy. They hung up when i asked they take my name/number off there list.

calls daily from unknown name.  Wants personal information.  when i say i'm on the do not call list, they say my number is
dailed ramdomly and they don't have the number.  

Same number many times. Mostly does not leave a message. I answered once and got the spiel about credit card debt. Told them I have no credit cards, but if they gave me their home number I would call them at home to talk about it. HANG UP....

My parents got this call from a gentleman claiming to be my son, saying he got into an accident and needed  $2000. THANK GOD Mother did not give any information on credit card or send any thing to Western Union. I highly suggest you find these people who are scamming the elderly! NOT with me or my parents! EVERYBODY!  And I`m being NICE in calling it a "prank call".

Received this call about 10 minutes after receiving a call from 11-605-555-0145. Answered each and immediately hung up. I am signed up on the Do Not Call list, have been for years, but I've been getting a lot of these calls lately. No credit cards, don't believe in them, so the scammers are wasting their time.

Received call from 775-229-1054 around noon. Caller ID shows: "RENO NV". No message left.

775-229-1054 This "Credit Card Services" has called for years. When you talk to a person and request they stop calling they hang up on you. So now I have a whistle and when they call, I request to speak to a person and blow the whistle as loud as I can.

I get multiple calls like this every week, all recordings promising to reduce my credit card interest rate and claiming to be the "final call" from "Card Services".  Today it said to "push 1 to speak to a friendly representative to get more information".  So, when the "friendly representative" came on the phone I told him the information I wanted was how to make this indeed the final call and get off their calling list.  He hung up on me.  When I called the number back, it went to voicemail and said the mailbox was full.  Thanks for the * 6 0 tip!  I've blocked the number that came in today but know there will be plenty more numbers as the "final call" just keeps coming in.  

They called recently while I was not at home..called again today 11:56 EST..I picked it up for a few seconds then hung it up. Jerks!

endless unwanted calls

do not answer this number they have called me at least 4 times a day trying to get me to lower my interest rate.  when i asked that they remove my number (on the do not call list) from their list they hung up on me.  mailbox is full when i tried to call back

wont do you any good to report them to the FTC. unless a crime has actually been committed FTC can't do a damn thing. FCC can't or won't do anything and all do not call is, is a database that only honest businesses respect. In other words your A$$ has been hung out to dry by our lawmakers.
