my daughter had this number 5 or 6 years ago, now some one is using this number for telemarketing and is still in her name, she has nothing to do with this. I have contacted the police, FCC, FTC , and the attorney general ,and trying to get this resolved. I have even called all of the cell phone services to find out who has this number, and getting nowhere.

I need this phone number removed from your database, this is my sister's cell phone number, she is not involved with a telemarketing firm or credit card company.... weird mix-up which i plan on investigating.

They called at work. It said NEVADA on the caller ID

I believe that the cc part is them acting like they are a business or what hv ya. They i  reality are calling you to c if you answer, that way they know if you are using your phone or not. If you have your name on the phone then they know who they are trying to steal from. THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR INFO. BY LISTENING IN ON YOUR PHONE CONVERSATIONS AND TEXT MESS. i GUESS THESE HACKERS DO THIS VERY EASILY AND THAT THE PHONE COMPANIES POSSIBLY KNOW ALL ABOUT IT. DO NOT USE YOUR PHONES TO BUY THINGS OR GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFO EVEN TO A FRIEND. HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO IS LISTENING- YOU DO NOT.  USE YOUR HOME PHONE/INTERNET WITH SECURITY. Change your # right away. I hv not just yet but now in the process. I hv blocked many #'s like this and they just keep calling and hanging up.  they never said credit card to me. Just got a missed call from this # for the first time. Many #s B4 this 1.

Ordered off the T.V. it was a scam. Gave them my cell phone #. We have received calls on 2 cell #s. Not sure how they did that, but seems like that is who is calling us. It started right after the buy off T.V. They had my CC #. Scary. Huh. Years hv passed. Hv had many #s blocked. They just call from another phone. They asked if I was me.  I asked who they were. I always ask.  It is my understanding that they are waiting for you to respond with the word "yes" do not say it ever. They can use it to modify it so that you are agreeing to buy something or worse. Imagine. Mostly no one on the line. Hang- ups. Stopped answering them all together. If it is life threatening, duh, lv me a mess or 911.     Do not answer. They call less, or cause they are blocked. Get them blocked, CHANGE your #. Do not answer. They were calling from the same # constantly but also calling from another # around same time period. I blocked them, they called a few months later from another #, the process continues. they will not go away. Careful with these people. THEY ARE HACKING YOUR PHONE TO LISTEN TO YOUR CONVERSATIONS AND TEXT MESSAGES. IF YOU HV A SMART PHONE OR NEW HIGH TECH PHONE THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL PASS WORDS, ACCOUNT #'S, ETC. The carriers that you have allow these things to get through. I was just surfing the net and came across info. about this so i decided to let you all know. Not sure of the site I was on. Believe it was -----ten ways the govt is watching you.

Just called, caller ID said, "Ashley Pike." I just reported those other scammers to the FCC. I was on a call, so did not answer. We are on national and state DNC lists.

Repeated message, some several times in a day, soliciting credit cards.

Got a call today from this number.  Interestingly enough, this was the first call in about two weeks, the longest we've gone with none of these SCAM calls in a long time.  Guess the hurricane knocked these f**ker around.  Anyway, I was in the back yard and didn't even hear it.  Wouldn't have answered anyway.  No message (which is ILLEGAL.)

My spouse has a theory that the PHONE COMPANIES are IN ON THIS; they want us 'bothered' so that we won't focus on how THEY ARE RIPPING us OFF.  ~BUT~, whenever there is a crisis, where they need the phone lines clear for emergency purposes, THEN the phone companies BLOCK these numbers/calls and we all get a reprieve, at least from these Bast*rds (while we're dealing with hurricanes, floods, wildfires, earthquakes, etc!)  Its OBVIOUS that the phone companies know WHO these people are that are calling, WHERE they are and WHAT they are up to - they might even be SPONSORING them so that we'll all buy more 'security' services on our credit cards, bank accounts, ETC.

I've been getting these calls too and see your post. I'll gladly do what it takes to make it stop but to whom am I to fax the form 1088 ? You don't say anything other than fill it out and fax it to "them".

Here we go again.  Card Holder Services calling to lower interest rates on credit cards.  Well if they were so damn smart they would know I don't have any credit cards.  This is a scam to have you release any credit card information then they will go in & transfer funds out of these accounts or use the cards.  Don't bother turning them into the do no call registry because they have software that allows them to use false numbers.  I cannot believe how tired I am of this bs.  It has been going on for weeks.  This time ID says NV.  Last time it was Florida.  You can't block the numbers bc their software just changes numbers.I be t I have recorded at least 15 differenct numbers.  Rediculous!

No message left on answering machine. I will never return calls from phone numbers that are not on my list of people to whom I issued my 'unlisted/unpublished' phone number.

Got caller ID as Ashley Pike    Answering machine does not work unknown who this is.   same phone number.   9/3/2011

The caller is listed as "Ashley Pike."  It will begin with an auto message about lowering interest rates.  Once I dialed 1 to speak with a person I asked as to the nature of the call and they hung up on me.

Reported them to the national do not call registry.

I keep getting getting these calls from this person or number stop harassing me

I've received too many calls from this outfit - telling me that this is the last chance to lower my credit card debt.  The irony of this crap is that I haven't had a credit card for over 5 years.  Many times, if a human being gets on the line I tell them to stop the calls - I'm on the no call list and "the US Attorney General's stop fraud list" (which is about as true as their line is)  I also tell them that all my calls are recorded to catch people like them.  If we ever caught one, I don't know what we could do to them?  Have a good day

We get calls almost every day on our house line at all times of day from 7am to 8pm but it is always a recorded voice of Rachael or Ashley. Now we've started to get them on our cell phones (both my husband's and mine) which have completely different numbers. If we answer on the cell phones, it costs us minutes.    It is bad enough to be aroused from a good sleep by the phone ringing but to have it be one of these type of calls is really annoying.

I've gotten three calls in two days.  9/1/11 11:49am 702-997-9999 I answered tried to sound interested and they hung up, Unknown Caller ID.   9/1/11 3:22 407-480-9999 same thing, Unknown Caller ID.  Then again 9/2 12:55  775-277-0131 Caller ID said Ashley Pike. Again I hung on the phone for all three calls and said hello, I'm interested in hearing more, and they hang up.  Are they listening for a certian aged person?   I dont' get it.   They don't even try they just make calls and hang up.   Loosers.  How do I hear more or get them to stop?

I, too, keep getting these calls.  I am also on the "do not call list."  I have tried three different times to tell them to put me on the do not call list.  They hang up before I can finish the sentence.  I'm reporting it today.

Another 'lower your interest rates' credit card scam. My LG cell phone allows me to block calls with known numbers. I add every scam and telemarketer to by 'Blocked' group. That doesn't prevent them from using new numbers, but at least it keeps them from re-using old numbers. I had a scam fundraising organization allegedly working for a police charity call me 19 more times after I blocked his number. His number was always blocked, but I still got notification of the blocked calls.  Note that it is not possible to block 'Private Numbers', faked phone numbers like those with 000 following the area code, and those with no Caller ID.

These guys are A***OLES, they just hang up on you when you ask to be "removed" from the call list and I cant find who these CLOWNS are, they refuse to identify themselves

I answered this number. It was some outfit: credit card services. I told whomever answered I was glad that, as there preamble message stated that, this was their final call and that I would never hear from them again!

calls come from this number about once a week...I have yet to speak to someone and I'm the other guy who says he doens't dare call a number that he doesn't know...I tried to call it from a land line but keep getting this message that says my call cannot be completed as dialed...please hang up and try again or call customer service...ok...how the hell do I call customer service if I dont know who called...idiots...I am postive this is one of these scams where they have all this information about you and all they need is to verify they have your credit card number and that lovely three digit security code...do not give that code to anyone over the phone...if they called you and asked for it then they are not legit...the credit card company that services your credit card already has it...
