We get calls at our company from these people all the time. Sometimes they respond sometimes they dont. After I ask whos callin and what company they're with they say "he knows who I am" referring to whomever they asked for. When I press for a company name they say IPX, I tell them we dont want their calls and they hang up. This guy has gotten really rude in the past.

I get calls from this number frequently, No one ever leaves a message. I do not answer because I do not know the caller.

I traced the number back and it appears to be a bogus fund
raising place for "law enforcement". It is a landline and located in
Elko, NV.

They just keep calling though.

Trying to collect money for the High Way Patrol.  Calls Constantly I report it to the Police and they say they can not block the call its tiring..

I never answer since my caller id says "unknown".  I've also received a call from this number on my cell phone at 2:00 AM.

They call everyday morning and afternoon, it clicks but nobody ever says anything.

They call me every day almost and at all hours for the last couple of years. I prefer to answer the telephone and not say any thing. That way they get to pay for the call. Every time I have done this they do not even say 'hello'. I love Caller ID

I just got another phone call from 775 299 4052, only this time after waiting for a reply, I ended up getting a busy tone, so I star #69 and try calling them back, but the method, would not work? hmmmmm What's up with that?????

just received this call. this is the second time i have gotten a call from 299-4052 and the second time nobody answered when i said hello.

I keep getting calls from (775) 299-4052 and every time I answer the phone, no one answers back and then I hear a click. This also happens when my husband answers the phone from the same number "Unknown name."

I just got a call too, since it said "unknown name" I didn't answer. My answering machine picked up and they hung up.  Weird.

I just got this call.  I answered, said hello a couple of times, and no response.  I love this site for finding out just exactly what these calls are.

I did a little research and found the number to belong to
someone in Elko NV doing fund raising for "law enforcement".
Supposedly a non profit group. Who knows?
They sure are annoying though.
I have reported it to the phone company.

I answer and say hello, no answer. I hang up. Never say hello more than once, it triggers their automated dialer.
