This company, Alere Medical, has called us for several months.  They call at least 2x a day (sometimes more).  They say they are calling on behalf of my husband's employer and want him to call back, leaving a personal message number.  If there is something my husband's employer wants for us, they will always send us something in writing - so far, we have not received anything in writing regarding Alere Medical.  We just ignore the calls as we are not interested in what they have to offer, but the calls are now coming to the point of harrassment.  Not only are they calling us during the day, but we've also received calls on Saturday and Sunday evenings just before 9 pm.  Like another person in this post, I am also filing a complain against them.

The pests keep calling.  My wonderful call blocking device won't allow them to ring my phone.  They CAN, however, leave a VM message.  But, I erase it at my leisure.  Ho hum....................

It's a message from Alere Medical calling on behalf of a former employer.  Not interested in anything they have to offer.  There will be no answering of their incoming calls or attempts made to call them at the number left in their robo message.  They will have better luck trying to pour melted butter up a wildcat's a*** with a red hot fireplace poker.  

just filed a do not call complaint against them!     they have filled up our answering machine with junk. only legal action can fix this moronic company's behavior. skirting the law by not having a way to tell them you are on the do not call list (no humans). don't understand a scam that allows for no contact with humans, but the feds will get them in time. they ask for a person who does not live here calling on behalf of a company/ employer  nobody here has ever worked for. they must be buying information from someone but their info is wrong. someone scammed them?
all of you should file complaints if you are on the do not call list. volume counts.

how to i get them to stop calling when i cant get a person?? several times a day!

I have been trying to return their call at my convenience, but it does not connect. My mother is very elderly and gets nervous with people who continue to make unwanted calls to us.

Gigi, does your company have a healthy initiative plan that is contracted through Alere Medical?  If so, that is most likey what they're calling about.  They keep calling me too even though I am not interested in this company benefit at the moment.

This # keeps calling me and I have no idea who it is. They will not leave a message. Is this a collector or sales call?

this number calls everyday 2x a day asking for my husband... he finally spoke to them the other night & stated he was not interested.. they said it was allere medical calling about something new for our health insurance.. they were extremely rude & arrogant when they were"trying to explain" this new addition.. if he said he was NOT interested why would they call again.. (a few minutes ago)..
They need to stop calling!

Someone from Alere Miedical keeps calling me on behalf of the Queens Medical Ctr for some kind of conditioning management info. I need to call back by Sept. 14, 2011.  This is the about the fourth time this company called.
