Got same text as everyone else

they get your name from FACEBOOK is you have your number there. I have a fb that i use for buisness with a dif name that no one calls me and it text me referring to me as that name

Got the same message as everyone else.  I replied with a non-confirming question - before I thought to look it up on here - and have yet to get a response.

I received the same message as other people asking for personal information do not reply you just press delete

Just sent a reply to see what they say and it seems like it is a bot answering. For those who don't know a bot is a program usually used in chat rooms and instant messengers to solicit whatever information.  When you respond it will respond with a prewritten answer.  Doesnt matter what you say. Usually the bots are programmed as "women" that invite you to see their webcam or go to their site for private fun.  Never seen this on a text message before.

yep its definitely a scam.  They sent me a text to saying Hi "JD"  havent heard from you in awhile.  But I know its a scam because JD is the name i use for my spam email.  They probably got my email from some website I was required to make a username and password for and then started their fishing expedition.
