I use to work for fncb and yeah people do get annoyed, I hated that job but the thing is that they don't call thu don't sit around looking for people there is an automated system that automatically calls your number, they can get all kind of information from just one phone call where u live your family All kinds of detailed info about you even if u call private lol sucks, but what I didn't understand was tht for some reason people would just think that I would dial ther number five times a day and hang up but no it was the system don't know why it does it, ugh I hated hearing tht ride people on the phone like seriously all they had to say was wrong number that's it, I got fired for not pushing people into lying I just didn't care...

Whoopie. Every collection agency, no matter how prim and proper they are, is going to get sued whether the suit is bogus or not. Show me a judgment.
NOT REALLY 2011-12-03 02:03:07 Unknown
That's not how a default judgment gets entered by any court of law. Sorry. They will first file a complaint against you and that complaint is served upon you by a process server with what is called a summons. If you fail to pay, make arrangements to pay or fail to answer the complaint....THEN, yes, a judgment can be entered by default. NOT from an answered phone call. SUCH misinformation!!!

Just got a call from this number. Went ahead and answered but hung up after 2 rings. Odd. I decided to call back b/c I don't have any delinquent accounts. Turns out it was for someone else. Very nicely they would take me off the list.

I enjoy playing with these bottom feeders. Using an ?Auto-Dialer?, I employ their tactics to harass them. The results are gratifying. I am retired and reversing their game is extremely enjoyable :D

Look at that map where a casino is at Reno, NV and Sparks is not that far off. Less than 5 minutes drive after they collected yours and then gamble! Isn't this AMAZING?

Continue to receive erroneous calls from this company. They are not looking for me, but won't stop calling me.

THEY BUY UP OLD DEBTS, WELL BEYOND THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS, AND WILL TRICK YOU (IF YOU LET THEM), INTO RENEWING THE DEBT FOR A FEW MORE YEARS.
HERE'S HOW
WHEN YOU ANSWER A CALL FROM THEM, THEY NOW HAVE A PHONE RECORD TO SHOW TO A JUDGE. OF COURSE THEY LIE, AND SAY THEY GOT YOU TO AGREE TO PAY THIS DEBT. THE JUDGE HAS NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO GRANT THEM A JUDGEMENT, AND START THE (NEW) LIMITATION ALL OVER AGAIN.. "NEVER ANSWER THEM, CALL THEM BACK, AND IF YOU'RE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO TRY AND STOP THEM..YOUR COOKED..
IF YOU DON'T HAVE CALL BLOCKING ON YOUR PHONE SERVICE, GET ONE THAT DOES..
THERE ARE DOZENS OF CHEAP WAY TO BLOCK THESE SCUMBAGS.. DO IT..

Jerry 2011-10-27 02:40:24 Unknown
No message left on my machine so I just delete the number and wait for the calls to start the next day and do it all over again.
Jim Dandy 2011-10-21 20:26:14 Unknown
They call, and I turn on the phone and turn it right back off again. CLICK. I suggest that everyone do this when you receive "unavailable" calls.
loneranger 2011-10-14 17:35:49 Debt Collector
get an emergency whistle and use it into the receiver as loud as you can after saying hold on a minute. Saw it on a tv show and it works.
Andie 2011-10-13 20:25:06 Unknown
push *67 and their number. Tell them you've been receiving calls from this number and you would like them to stop. They ask for your phone # you are receiving the calls from and then they asked me if this was "so and so". I said no, I just got this number yesterday so he nicely told me my number would be removed.

dicy 2011-10-10 11:11:49 Unknown
since I don't know who is this number I will not answer.
CJ1964 2011-10-06 23:04:20 Unknown
I so Agree... If they are allowed to add just any old thing to our credit reports then we should be allowed to take any old thing off the credit reports. Some collectors have tried to collect debts that they know well that the bill is more than 10 years old. If the numbers dont com up on my phone with a name I dont answer them. This means they are either trying to sell me something or harass me for something that was so long ago they dont have the right to collect it in the state that I live in.

Bankrupt No More 2011-09-22 03:33:40 Unknown
Hmm...it's interesting to read these posts. I've been doing research for a book and educating myself to become a public speaker on financial/credit issues. One of the surprising things I encountered was that companies will TARGET people who are emerging from bankruptcy, because they have a "taste for credit" and will likely default on new accounts (seems counterintuitive, I know, but companies can actually earn MORE from people who have bad credit). I started getting these calls a few months ago, and up to 20 per day from other companies too, all with only a number and city. Could it be the same company making these disruptive calls??? The interesting thing is that I "emerged" from bankruptcy right about the time this started happening. I have not incurred new debt since 2005, nor do I intend to, and my final Ch 13 statement states I owe NOTHING to anyone. It makes me VERY ANGRY!!!
I never pick up the phone, so I don't know for sure if they are collectors or what....although I have repaid EVERY LAST PENNY owed to my CHapter 13 trustee. Many companies call looking for people with names similar to mine, so that could be it too (but how does MY phone number get "attached" to some other name????). I checked my credit records and there is no suspicious activity. So I am not sure if they are mistakenly trying to collect a debt, solicit me, or what. What I do know is that it HAS TO STOP. Now.
Sick Of It 2011-09-21 18:16:58 Debt Collector
I get calls from them at least four times a day. The voice mails are cut off or there is just a click. Since I can't block numbers on my phone,I saved the number as Z1 and set that number up with no ringer. I am not bothered, but still have a record of the calls.
