caller would not say his name, went on and on talking about the info I requested. He then mentioned interest rates, I told him to take me off his calling list and hung up. He then called back 1 minute later from a restricted name and yelled at me telling me I requested information from him? I tried to call the original # and a fax picked up.

This guy called my house and at first asked for my mother, when I asked who was calling he just told me that my father had called with an inquiry about my mother, and then asked to speak with my father.  I asked him which one it was he needed to speak with and he said he wasn't exactly sure.  I asked him again who he was and he finally told me his name was Bill Stewart, but would not specify what company he was representing.  We went back and forth and he continued to be rude with me and said he was going to turn my rude little butt in.

DO A *60 AND TURN ON YOUR BLOCKING SYSTEM VIA YOUR TELEPHONE COMPANY THEN KEY IN (1) FOLLOWED BY TELEPHONE NUMBER 775-588-7339. THIS SHOULD BLOCK EM FROM EVER BEING ABLE TO GET TO YOU.

DO A *60 AND TURN ON YOUR CALL BLOCK, THEN PUT IN THE TELEPHONE NUMBER (1) FOLLOWED WITH THE TELEPHONE NUMBER, THIS WILL BLOCK THIS CALL.

I got a similar call, but said 'I' was harrassing 'him' and not to call his number anymore.  I almost called back to clear things up but figured it was some sort of a scam to get information. A guy that sounds like a smoker with a gravely voice...

My wife just took a call from this guy.  He said that we made some type of inquiry about lowering interest rates or credit card debt.  My wife told him that she wasn't sure where he got the information, but we were not interested.  The male caller then proceeded to start yelling at my wife, telling her to not make an inquiry again or he would turn us in.  He then hung up.

Since I was standing there through the whole thing and could hear this man yelling at my wife through the phone, I tried to call the number back, but it just rang busy.
