They called AGAIN this morning, Feb. 29, 2008 at around 7:00 a.m.  I answered and got a series of beeps then hung up.

Actually this number... (775) 993-9994 belongs to CallWave, an answering service for your computer, usually used when you have dial-up internet service but can be used as an answering machine when you aren't home or don't answer.  It is their test number to see if your service is working properly.

Different people calling my phone nd saying that I called their phone, nd I haven't then I reeceive this number nd I don't know who's this damn it this is getting me pissed off already!!

for the past 2 weeks , i've reeived calls at midnight , 2am, 3am, 4:30am ... how stupid are these people??? how do you stop it? i read the *60 to block, does that work??

These b*****ds have called multiple times and their number is always busy when I try to return the call. I filed a few complaints with the Federal DNC website, but no resolution so far.

Callwave doesn't "advertise their wares"- this is the TEST # that someone clicks on to TEST their CALLWAVE SERVICE that already downloaded. If you didn't download CALLWAVE (Internet Answering Machine)then someone gave them your number as their own number or mistakingly typed in your # instead of their own which is why their CallWave is not working and why they have to TEST it. CallWave is a reputible company.

THE COMPANY NAME IS "CALLWAVE" OUT OF RENO NEVADA. I HAVE COMCAST DIGITAL VOICE THAT ALLOWS YOU TO BLOCK THIS TYPE OF CALL MOST COMPANIES USE *69 TO FIND OUT WHO CALLED. THEN *60 TO INCLUDE NUMBERS TO BLOCK FROM YOUR TELEPHONE. HOPE THAT THIS HELPS.

THE 1-775-993-9994 IS FROM A COMPANY IN RENO NEVADA "CALLWAVE" THEY SUPPLY FAX, SERVICE. PROBABLY TRYING TO ADVERTISE THEIR WARES.

EARLY MORNING CALLS 4:00am,6:24am UNWANTED

I recieved a call from this number about a minute ago.  I wasn't familiar with the area code, so I didn't answer it.  What is this number, some bill collector or something?

This number is Callwave testing line..
It called me late at night also.
I suppose someone was using our number as there's or just trying to mess with us.. hmm?

I received a call from this number many times.  I am supposed to be on the no call solicitation list.

Who is calling me?

I received a call from this number at 3:15AM, being suspicious (and curious who had the nerve to call at this hour) I let the answering machine take it. No message left. *69 provided 7759939994.

I recently (within 24hrs) filled out an on-line request for info on VA mortgage loans. No sooner did I do so - I was called (first time I've ever given out my phone number in such a way) by realtors.com... the form was for lending tree, they hadn't even processed the request yet. Could be a connection.

My suspicious mind says 'what if it's a way for hackers to try linking via phone number'... my computer had just finished updating and coincidently I had just woke/got up when the phone rang.

We received a call from this number at 4:33a.m. on Feb. 28, 2008.  Our answering machine picked up at about the same time we did (on the 4th ring) and there was a dial tone.

Received a phone call after midnight from this number. I heard a series of beeps like someone still dialng the phone. A recorded male voice came on and said "Sorry I have the wrong number".
