i also had same experience, from Riverwood university. guy called from US number named Antonio. He told me that my legalization procedure is not yet done and i have to make payment of 6200 USD. later a lady who claimed that she is calling from UAE embassy from US which make me surprise that number which i have received the call is correct(UAE embassy Number) after a week i got a call from external ministry of affairs+97144040000 regarding the legalization about my documents, The guy called from UAE embassy at 04.00 PM as the embassy timing is up to 2.00 PM.

Please dont believe these guys, they are 100 % fraud. Please destroy the documents which you have received from there side. it is 100% fake and no use

I was tried to register  in online university I was searching for scholarship when I put my name and my email, and my phone number they got it and they keep  calling me day and night around the o?clock convinced me that they have online master degree in Gibson university and I CAN GET the master degree in one year it will cost 15000 $.unfortunately I paid 700 $ for the registration fee when I read the information people wrote it about them I know the story after I lost my money .Could you please write about this matter everywhere, so people will know about them.

I am from Oman,  I also got call from the same number and he told me that I got a new job in Oman.
I think these are some people want to steal money or they are planning to do something bad.

Same like you all what is fraudlent callers ... They cheated me for Barkley University...person called tell his name Gary Smith ... I don't know how they can make such mail ids and websites which look genuine when we go for live chat with these bullshits....beware..

I have received the same call around 13 times I don't pick up. I know these people scam to everyone. Police and telecommunications track them who are they otherwise they will do the same to find the victims.

I got phone call from this number stating that it is from "Madissan University (which is a fake university) and offering life experience degree. I asked him to send email as I aware that any accredited university from US should be accredited by "ed.gov" Or "Chea".  He started to talk in US accent and during the course of discussion it gradually changed as Pakistani accent. Dont believe them. Thanks for this forum.

I just receive a call from the same number and this guy claim he called from ministry of labour saying that they receive a complaint from ministry of higher education that I hold invalid document. I believe they are from the same group of people that offering experience based online degree which I was convinced they are a real institution. I've paid them almost AED8000 but till now I never receive any attested degree as they promise instead keep sending email stating that there's new rules which of course require more money for them to get the degree attested. But till now I refused to pay and I'm looking for way to lodge a complaint to ministry. I think this is a new trick trying to get my money again. I do have a contact from ministry of higher education in abu dhabi and he said to report to abu dhabi police and I have done initial verification that the university is nit listed. also I will lodge a report regarding the university.

I got a call from same number. his name is NOBEL WOODS working at GIBSON UNIVERSITY/ STEADFORD UNIVERSITY. Australian it seems. I searched him google and found it to be a Pakistani guy. Was asking for 2000US dollars

i got a call from Dubai mobile number +971562836066 (@ 3.45PM, Govt dept in uae works only till 2 to 3 PM maximum), claiming that the lady from ministry of labor department and my degree certificate is not attested by few departments in USA and she said my university is not responding or legalizing my documents. then she conference with British accent guy who claim him said Dr.Jim from university and will call me back in 15 min....  (Which university in states starts working from 7.45 AM :P) , after fruitful discussion, he requested to transfer 4250$ as a documentation attestation charges if not i'll be deported from UAE with life long ban.  i said call me back in 15 min, and he called me many times i was busy, later he called me on my land line, then i said i don't have credit card with that much limit, he said i can make payment with installments, i said i need to check with our ministry of education before making the payment. this was on wednsday, yesterday evening again he calls same time, i said im not interested to make any payment please inform the ministry the same......

I have been receiving many calls from 777-279-0608 at least 4 times a week saying that i can pay only $399 for online education. I am in Kuwait and they call me from USA it's 4 am their time. I really don't think any university in USA are promoting their online studies at 4 am.....Bull S***....becarfull all...THEY ARE SCAM.

Hi Guys be careful I trusted this people like an idiot and they got 3700USD from me after less then 24hours from payment I told them I made a mistake and I didnt wanna go ahead cause I changed my mind.Of course cant get my money back!!!! I found out that name on the website were fake like JOHNATON RHODES LEARNING PROGRAM ??? they dont have an address, 24/7 assistance once you pay they disappeared. I finished the first Unit in less then 10 mins as was a quiz true or false, also my 12 yo sister could of do it!!!!PLEASE DONT TRUST THIS PEOPLE, scholarship are nor given in seconds and you cant get a bachelor degree in a few days for few money, even if I wish.I hope I ll help others thru my experience .

exactly happened to me, they called me form hiring specialist that I got an offer in one of famous bank in Bahrain and I agree on it and later on they asked me to apply for MBA form riverwood university which i'll get the MBA within 3-4 weeks!! but unfortunately I process the payment $500 for enrolment fees :"( and I don't know what to do now.. I tried many time to contact them for the refund no one answer me either email nor phone calls

Is Gibson University a scam?

Same here, i received a call from al arab university just today and they will call back at 6pm to complete the payment for my enrollment. They offered 90% presidential discount but i'm so suspicious about it. Thanks for this forum.
