just got a call from that number didnt answer left no message

we recieved a call from this no. the call showed as an unknown number. some one called my name and proceeded to get me to invest in green power, i told him i did not talk to unknown numbers and hung up.

I'm afraid this might be even worse than a scam investment and/or id theft - I actually logged on to their stuff (download whatever) and picked up a horrible virus/root kit - it costs $2K plus to get my computer working again - a lesson for me

Thanks to everyone for posting.  I did not pick up on this call and now I am glad I did not after seeing what everyone had to say.  Good advice from McFraud.

Guy from India called and tried to get me to "invest" in his True Green Enrergy scam.  I to;d him I wasnt interested and hung up.  Will report to DNC list.

There is another phone number associated with "True Green's" 777-889-0367.  It is 209-386-7550, a Modesto, California number.  The man who gave me this number identified himself as Chris James.  The initial caller handed the intial phone directly over to Mr.James so they muist have been sitting close to each other.  The offer was to buy 1000 shares in True Green's incinerators at $3.00US per share.  This is a peculiar method of soliciting stock holders since that is usually done with a prospectus.  I suspect this business is probably more intersted in obtaining social security numbers and bank account numbers rather than selling stock...id theft perhaps.

Look what my researched discovered:
"This outfit telemarkets in the USA using a call-shop from the Philippines. They buy phone lists and then call in violation of US do-not-call laws. Beware of 1-777-889-0367 calls. Any company that tries to scam people in this matter is scum."

This telmarketers called my home at 7:15pm.  They had one of those lousy dialers that leaves you saying hello to dead air while they determine that they actually got some sucker to pick up his phone instead of just another answering machine...  when the marketer clicked in i just kept saying 'hello' and he asked for me by name to wich i just again said hello, and then he started some pitch about true green energy group...  after five minutes of this i said 'hello', and can you speak up i can barely hear you... he started his pich again and when he got quiet i said "hello?" and it went on like this for a while.  I like that i was able to waste his time and save a few more people from having their dinner hour interupted.  I like doing this to telemarketer.  It is funny and effortless if I am working at my desk surfing the web anyway.  Try it sometime, there is a perverse satisfaction from scamming a scammer.

I received a call from 777-889-0367 last night.  No one said anything, just sat there.  I did not recognize this number nor do I want calls from this number.

Same here..DNC does not slow them down...msut be something we can do other than "mess" with them even though that sounds good.  I'll try that next time.    Put them on hold...they are not supposed to stay on line for very long.

777-889-0367. NAME NOT FOUND...keeps calling.  I never, never, never will answer a unfamiliar phone call..especially from out of state..I know NO ONE.  
But from the comments I see..gotta be some type of scam.

NEVER NEVER ANSWER  "NAME NOT FOUND" OR ANY UNFAMILIAR PHONE #.

True Green. Talked to them, wanted me to log on to their website to view a presentation.
Asked them to email a link since I did not have net access. Never received the link.
Asian telemarketer did not appear to understand the correct syntax for an email address.
Guess he got it wrong.

Business is supposedly trash burning electrical power generators.
Guess they're looking for Suckers / Investors.

Just let the phone ring when this number pops up on caller ID.

I just talked to someone from True Green Energy from the Phillipines...they are looking for investment money for an IPO.....they send me to another person his supervisor.....I told the supervisor that I would be interested in investing in their company but first they must invest in mine and send me $100,000....  I keep insisting he send me $100,000 before I invested in his company I guess he didn't want to since he hung up

Called tonight. wanted me to invest in trugreen electric. Told them I was on another call with a guy trying to sell me ocean front property in Arizona

Same thing....called our home number, I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  I'm not fond of answering unknown callers.  I am reporting them to the website listed above.

Rec'd a call from this number on my cell.  I did not reconize the number and no ID attached so I did not answer it.  Would like to know where they got my cell number from.

Very annoying phone calls and don't leave messages. Why can't these bad phone call be deleted from our phone system from the Fraud Dept?

I have been getting these 777 calls as well, I don't answer the ph, as I don't reconize the area code, have informed my wife as well, not to answer the call. We also are on the DNC list and these people don't leave a message. Very annoying!!

If you think the FTC is going after companies that are outside the USA, you are out of your mind. They don't go after ones in the USA. These calls are inconviences; the FTC doesn't care. Once in a while they will go after someone; but they aren't wasting time on companies in the Phillipines. They don't have the personnel or resources to go after companies that have cost consumers millions.

Gettng calls from this number. Leave no message.

I have received a call from this number every day for a week.  I have not answered but want it to stop!  This is insane!

Your statement is not correct - this information can be located by clicking on More Information button on donotcall.gov then clicking on Information for Consumers - which is 2 buttons above the FILE A COMPLAINT button - that you must use to report these illegal calls

I suggest everyone does that, so they have a record of the commplaints.

This number never leaves a message, and once when I answered the phone, they had some kind of india accent, and hung up on me when I asked them to remove me off their calling list since I'm on the national DNC list. Very annoying.

Two calls in less than 48 hours. True Gtreen Energy Company is an on-going criminal enterprise since they violate the Do Not Call registry.
Everone who gets a call from them should log each call on the Federal Trade Commission's Do Not Call complaint web page: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx .
I know thew FTC is impotent and lackadasical about enforcing the law - the same as the INS and anything else that does not benefit the democratic party and their socialist allies. Still, if a law is on the books, it should be enforced or else repealed.

Rec'd a call from these clowns - True Green Energy or some such.  Person with a Latino(?) accent did the usual pleasantries, then asked if I could hold for a minute to speak to a Mr. Richard Leach/Lynch(?).  I said OK, waited a minute, then he got back & said Mr. Leach/Lynch was out of the office, and could he call back.
I looked for a call blocking function on my phone - couldn't find on - there may be one on the Verizion Web Site.  Hope so!!
