Tell me Is it a legit?

TERSYLBRAN is a legitimate company whose name has been hijacked by third parties to commit fraud.  We are not in the mystery shopper business.  

If anyone using our name asks you send them money, DON?T DO IT, and DON?T ATTEMPT TO CASH ANY CHECK YOU RECEIVE BECAUSE IT?S BOGUS.  You should report that entity to the local authorities.  Obviously, this is an old issue, but we have just recently become aware of the extent of the fraudulent activity associated with our company.

An obvious scam. They want you to get the money to them before the check clears, which it won't! You, and the company who's name is on the check are victims.

It is useless and morally wrong to attempt to cash a check you suspect as being fraudulent. First of all, it won't clear and your bank will charge you a fee for a returned check. If it somehow falls through the cracks and clears, it's still fraudulent. Your bank will have to return the money and will deduct it from your account. And you will STILL be out the returned check fee.

The proper thing to do is provide copies of what you received to your local post office and your state's attorney general (address easily found on the internet). They will take it from there.

Oh something can be done to you.  My friend failed for this scam and almost lost her house, along with her personal bank account being froze and the money was recouped from her personally.  She lost all the way around.  The checks appear to be so real and can pass through the banks also.  As long as they have your personal information, the money can be recouped or you can be arrested. Your credit can be damaged.

we got a letter too but also with a check for $3,750 telling us to spend $15 at McDonald's $50 at wal mart and then to do a wire transfer of $3035 then $500 is for us to keep. the letter we got says "NSW Research Inc." we would like to know who this is too.

I didn't get a call from this number, BUT I did get something in the mail with this phone number on it.  It says it is Tersylbran Research Inc.  I can't find that company name online.  I DID find Tersylbran Inc.  It is a restaurant that also does business as Sports Scene.  The mail I got from them is for working from home doing mystery shopping.  I don't know if they are legit or not...trying to find that out!!

I need to know who this company is.
