I got a check for $4989.30... said to call that #  It has to be a scam, Im not that Lucky! I am going to report it to the Better Business Bureu and everyone should do the same..... TY

I got the letter with the check for 4992.70. Did some looking called the number on the letter and no one picked up, looked up the address for the company on the check, called they arent A.I.G any longer, so i Called the bank on the check and they wouldnt even talk to me. So I called the number on the letter one last time and started explaining what i found and wanted to know if this was a scam, the hung up. LOL lazy a** people, get a job!!!

my hubby also got a letter with a check in it they wanted him to send it to them the day he put it in the bank  but i wouldent let him to its a scam pay taxes for 250000.00 he had won

Let me tell you guys I got the same letter kept getting hung up on but come to find out AMerican Insurance Company is a real company but these people are not I spoke with Alli in the fraud department and faxed her over all the paper work, she said that the FBI is now handling this seeing that over 500 hundred people have been SCAMED! 513-807-4056 this is the real company!

I got the same letter and check.... Everytime I call Christine Hill she hangs up on me, so I figured it is too good to be true and after reading everyone's experiences, I guess that it is a Scam. Good thing I did not deposit the check!

It will take at least 10 days for the NSF check to come back.  Don't be fooled.

I got a letter too.  It states that the $4,776.00 check is to pay "non-canadian residential tax (LOL).  So you call them, they say cash the check.  You do, wow, you have real money in your hand.  But, like all these other scams, the check comes back NSF on THEIR end and YOU owe the bank the $4776 you just Western Unioned to some sheister in Canada or somewhere else.  The letter says to Western union or Moneygram the payment as "payment method".

lol had me fooled, called a few places did some digging and it is a definite scam, check out safeco insurance online and they tell you point blank its not a lottery business but an insurance company only.....

i called tonight at550 talked to a lady named christine
   sounds real, she told me to go to the bank in the morning and cash the check.......
well see what happens
