Got the TTY assisted call from Mike Collins Safety in New York looking for the 3M 6300 Half Masks.  Red flag was already up but as soon as the operator said "I will like to know..." I knew it was a scam and googled Mike Collins Safety, found this thread, and hung up.

JUST ANOTHER SCAM UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME

Think I am dealing with the same con guys - Angela Safety Inc - 3 different addresses (ship to, bill to, company address) - How do I check to see if they are fraudulent?

Wanted to buy about $4000 worth of cutting blades but gave insufficient description to know what they wanted.

Yeah i got the same thing that everyone else as been getting. same general message, similar company name (first time they said they were Collin Safety), and credit card, but same address. real slick. fortunately we caught them the first time by looking up the info they gave us. I couldn't believe they tried to swindle us twice within two weeks, despite the fact we told them we found out about their dishonest activity and that we were a small family business. but anyways keep an eye out for these crooks.   These people are located in New York, and always ask for overnight shipping, be leery when they ask for large quantities.  Here's what they sent me the second time they tried to pull a fast one.

Today we received master Card info and delivery address. Its a scam that works by canceling the payment on the credit card after shipment is completed. I think thats how it works. To be honest, I dont know how they get their money. Because its clear they dont know anything about what they ordered. They got the details all wrong.

I agree that the Feds should be on this. But the Feds are really only interested in prosecuting and making examples of our own people. So my guess is that we can expect sooner or later that an American will take this matter into his own hands. Hunt down these scammers and do something about it. Then the Feds will prosecute the American for criminal activity opening the door for a law suit by the scammer to sue both the American and the Feds making the scammer rich and a laughing mockery of how easy it is to scam Americans and not only get away with it. But get rich by doing it.

I have been living in China for years nad i have never received sms like this. Now i receive them everyday. What kind of number is this +10010?

I got the same email about playing at a wedding, but in Illinois and her name was Joy Brown - She kept asking for my home address, phone number etc so that she could send me 50% deposit - she gave me this same number to call. I was leary about calling it thinking it could be a scam.

Same scam, 40 diamond blades, Angela safety, new phone number of 718 234 8097, no answer.  Like the name I used to reply to them?  Yawara Deirtbagh.  The idiots, they didn't get it.  Same story, no one wants to follow up on this, no locals, state or feds.  Also watch out for a Dr. Larry Williams from WA.  He will want to wire you money for equipment or cars, etc.  Then he uses your wire info to make fake checks and tries to get 1/2 the money sent to China.  Internet scams are one thing but I thought the Treasury would be all over 50+ fake checks, but no, not intereted.

We also got the email for the Diamond Concrete Blades from "Angela Safety Inc.
". It took all of 10 seconds to figure out they were a scam thanks to this site and that I don't trust orders from non-business email addresses.

They had a different number than the one I saw in previous comments about them. The one they gave us is (718) 234-8097.

They won't be getting anything from us.

WE RECEIVED A STRANGE EMAIL REQUEST FOR DIAMOND CONCRETE BLADES FOR OVERNIGHT SHIPMENT.  THE WORDING WAS SO FOREIGN WE BEGAN TO INVESTIGATE THE ANGELA SAFETY COMPANY AND DETERMINED IT TO BE A FAKE .   BEWARE OF EASY ORDERS FROM NEW OR HURRY UP CUSTOMERS YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD OF.

IT'S A SCAM. THEY MUST HAVE GOT THEIR HANDS ON A BID FROM NY AND FIGURED THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO UNLOAD THE DIAMOND BLADES. IF I WERE THE POLICE I WOULD GET INVOLVED!!!!!!!!

This person emailed us to order equipment from our company. I suspect that they are trying to make purchases with stolen or fraudulent credit cards.
