These people call me three times a day! I tried call blocking and it worked for a few days but now they can get through again. I used Shaw call block and we had peace for almost a week. I'm going to buy a new phone soon just for the call block feature. There is no way it can be legal to call that many times a day. That is harassment. They aren't getting anything from me because I won't answer the phone, I'll just block them.

Please have this number stop calling my house. They interrupt my family at all hours.

Send them emails and ask them to contact you by mail only and that you are not the person they are looking for.
You now have proof that you have let them know to contact you only by mail and that they have the wrong person.

Contact the police and press harassment charges if nothing gets done.  Also contact the better

this number is a BC area code and i live in ontario. everyday we get calls but they're not all the same. sometimes its a man asking for Barb or Barbara (no one in my household with that name), or its a pre-recorded voice.

one time i answered and it was an automated voice and it was like "press 1, etc" and it said "press 3 to have your number erased from our list" so i did and it said they were going to put me on the line to their operators, so i just hung up.

we usually just never pick up but today i got fed up and answered it. it was a lady with a very thick middle eastern accent and she was asking for someone and when she said "may i speak to" and then the name sounded like she was speaking her language. so i told her to speak english and she got all rude and insisted that she was but it was NOT english. i told her that no one by that name lives here and to stop harassing my family and after a few seconds of silence she hung up. 3 minutes later a 416 (toronto) area code calls and ITS THE SAME LADY!!! how the hell can they do that?! i was so utterly pissed off i gave her a piece of my mind and really bi****s her out and fought with her til she went silent, then she hung up and didnt call back.

they usually call at noon or 6pm right on the dot. my family is getting really sick of it. my dad thinks Bell has something to do with it because he got a new phone from Bell a few days ago, new number and everything and he's been getting weird calls. whoever these people are need to get a life and stop harassing people. im actually really pissed off by these people and i hope we get rid of our home phone altogether.

I just started getting a call from this number 2 times now in last couple hours. I dont answer numbers I dont know especially during the day time before my free calling starts.
They have not left me a voicemail yet so I came online and googled number to see if i can figure out who it is, then i found this site.

Calling me everyday for the past month non stop.

I get about 5 calls a day from this number. It says that there is an urgent business matter then puts me on hold. I have also been getting the same call from a different number.

This number keeps calling - when I answer it says please wait for the next available agent for an urgent business matter. I waited more then 20  minutes on hold without any agent answering so I hung up.

They call my pay-as-you-go cell phone at least 20 times a day & have been for the past year. And I can't even answer it to tell them to bugger off because I refuse to pay the long distance fees to do so. I do know its a collection agency (from the weird messages they leave), but where they get their info I don't know cause it seems from everyone's posts that they only call people who DON'T owe them $ (& I sure don't). Stop calling me!!!

Does anyone know what company this # belongs to so we can all start complaining to the Better Business Bureau of BC?

# is CBV collections....they call several times a day...not an actual person(3 times) and then when procede to ask me for my verification information. Guess what if you dont know who you are calling...I am not going to tell you....

these guys call me 2 or 3 times a day.  twice answered and got live persons... who identified themselves as CBB Collections, and immediately requested my date of birth to verify MY identity before they could reveal the subject of their call.  i refused.  seems like a scam...  i tried texting the number and got a sucessful 'text-to-landline' message back, so it's a landline, apparently in vancouver.

No one has my house number n it's not even in my name so I know it's not for me!

I just got a call from this number (839PM) Says an "urgent business matter" I've had collections call me before and its NEVER a 778 number they are all TOLL FREE... Im almost certain this is a scam

i do not know who these people are and do want want any more calls.

Careful they are using a new phone number now.

It is 1-778-328-9902.  They called me 5 times today within 3 minutes of each other and four times two days ago.

This number calls us once or twice a day at work. SO ANNOYING. There's never anyone there.

1-778-328-9993 = must be a collection agency - they left me on hold (a blank space of about 2 minutes) and I hung up. WTF? Mayhaps it's an automated dialer and if there aren't any people in the call centre (because they are all watching the Flames trying to win the 7th game of the series tonight!!!???)= then you get nothing after the message that asked you to wait for someone....??? VERY ANNOYING!!

I have gotten four strange messages from this number.. the first two were people calling claiming they were a bank and asking about a claim filed against "John" who was suppose to me me.  A third one was some beatbox song, and the fourth was a very confused man asking about a sound... all in a matter of a week? this is CBV collections.....any way to block them from calling ur cell phone? im about to call telus mobility and change my number :) they call me at 7:30am and throughout the day.....get the hint already im NOT gonna answer and talk to u! im dealing with debt management and they have been told to call them back not me, so STOP CALLING........

They have been phoning here regularly.
