Yes these guys been calling me about 3_5 times a day for about 6 months now

I received this message at 7:49pm Sunday June 8'14 on my answering machine...."hello there" in a male deep voice.  nothing else was left.  I like to know if this is a scam or just a wrong # dialed.

Just had a call from this # didn't answer it. A whole bunch of #'s came up where the name was supposed to be? Reading all the previous posts, it sounds like more than one person, male &female, various accents &names...east Indian, Hispanic, Chinese etc... I am with Telus, but others with Bell &Rogers are getting this too...weird. Obviously some sort of routing # used by scammers the like. Won't answer if they call again.

Received a phone call March10'2014 at 8:54pm  in Vancouver bc and girl said your computer have malicious viruses and go to your computer and our computer technician will help you side by side with no cost at all and I tried to ask the location that they calling from she answered that she is from California San Francisco. Don't give any information

got a call from this number indicating they have been receiving error messages from my computer. I replied bull s*** and hung up.

This number has been calling at 4am for a few mornings now. 778 329 0323
Today they said they were Microsoft Windows and would help me with my computer.
I thought that scam had died off.

Received a phone call Jan 8, 2014 at 6:25 AM in Vancouver, BC Said we have a  computer problem. I just hung up.

Got a call from 778-329-0323 few days ago and another one today telling me something wrong with my computer.  I don't believe them at all.

This tard has been calling me and my wifes phone and we have not recognized the number . Checked it out on google and this site came up.

I got a call from this number today showing "V0010230400021  778-329-0323" and this guy with strong Eastern Indian accent said he's calling from Windows Technical Department. Basically same as MJohnson had. I asked how he's got my phone number and he said it's from the user registration after the purchase. I didn't recall registering this number. The caller insisted me to turn on my Windows PC. In fact there are 4 Windows PC at home. So I asked which Windows sent him those error messages. Then the line was cut. Because of his strong accent and my English level, it was hard to understand what he was talking about. Anyway, a few minute later, I got another phone call with no number and "M00102390100021" so I didn't pick up. Then again, another phone call from "M00102403500021"?425-668-9652. I ignore again. I just checked the number here and found this number is also used by same people.

I googled this case and found out about the fraud. I'm so glad that I didn't trust him!
If I followed his advice, I would have became a victim of a huge scam.

Just received a call from this number. I could hear a bunch of noise in the background. He quickly hung up when i said i was not the owner of the house. Tried calling the number back and it says its not in service. Do not tell these creeps any information.

I got a call from this number yesterday from a guy claiming to be a tech with Microsoft telling me I had errors on my computer. Obviously a scam so he got nowhere but an earful. Today they call, dead air and then a mechanical voice says goodbye. Telus should be held liable for the nuisance this number is inflicting on it's customers as calling back says this number doesn't exist. So why are they allowing fake caller ID calls to go through their system?!?!. Seems like a cooperative effort of the scammers and the phone company as they appear to be in cahoots. I let him go on long enough to determine it is a company in Russia trying to gain access to your computer by getting you to download their remote client software so they get inside your machine. Lamest scam EVER!

Hello this caller called me asking about windows and stuff he wanted private info he had a fske voice and he keeps on clling my home phone

I just got a call from the same number, called back....not assigned.

I almost forgot his very "Swedish" name, Peter Watson.

Seem to be a whole lot of diferernt Indian/Pakistani boiler rooms trying this scam now.  Shills are even posting false testimionials in other threads lol

Just got a call from this number saying he was calling from Windows and that my computer was compromised.  He made it sound serious and as if I could loose everything on my computer.  I kept him going started to flirt with him and ask him personal questions.  Apparatenly he's from Sweden; but, as of 4 years ago lives and works in Alabama and somehow has an Indian accent lol.  As I pressed on with more questions and told him I work in telecommunications he said he had to go because the call was taking too long and would call me back in 30 mins or the next day.  I tried calling the number and the call does not go thru.  Sure enough, he called back in 30 mins and tried to continue getting me to go thru "the steps to cleaning my computer".  I told him I thought he was a scam and that I was hanging up.  Was actually kind of amuzing; however, this person was being convincing and could easily fool someone else!! Listen people, no one is looking out for your computer or checking the virus' on it that is your responsability and if you cant call the number back its a sure sign its a scam.  Watch out for this one especially if you have children in the house.

This number called me asking if I was the owner of the number. When I asked who was calling they said it was my IT department for my computer. Lots of background noise with other telemarketers. I know this scam. They tell you that there is a virus and they will clean it. Last time they called I played along and asked them what PC I had and what operating system. By the way, I don't HAVE and IT department!

I hung up on this guy and have blocked the number.

Got call from this number and told you that your computer is infected and they rec'd whole bunch of message from your IP address. This is very scary call.  The claimed that they are calling from Dr. computer Company from Toronto

just got a call from this number. Same a the comment above. there was background noise. He had Indian accent. He said he was calling on behalf of microsoft. He had called before, perhaps 6 months ago. I knew he was going to tell me there was a problem with my computer. I told him that the call is strange. I don't have microsoft at home. I have apple. He asked me how old I was. I said that was none of his business. He said I sounded like a teenager. I said I'm an adult. Then he asked once again for my age and told me my voice was sweet. I yelled at him and hung up. B*****d!

Not the first call I've had from this number.  Did not pick up.  Could hear muffled talking and almost "factory" type noises in background.  No message left, however background noises went on for quite some time.  I am quite sure that this is the same number that called me in the middle of the night a few months ago!  The phone companies sound as if they are helpless in shutting these guys down...hmmm.

Call from 778-329-0323 was my brother using a calling card from the US. Must just get routed through some local number. Not Skype in his case, but can imagine Skype calls might get routed this way too. So, although lots of scam calls might be made this way so as to be less traceable, it is not NECESSARILY a scammer. Could actually be someone you know trying to reach you. Also, in this case not likely that you would be able to get through to whoever called you by calling the number back.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be calling on behalf of Microsoft regarding my computer. "it has been sending error reports" and they need access to my computer to fix it. Was hung up on once I asked for him to tell me my IP number.

Was just called by this number and was claiming to be from "microsoft" person had a very think Indian accent and I could hear lots of voices in the background & keyboard clicks (call centre perhaps?) informing me that my computer has been sending them error messages for "quite some time now" when asked "for how long/since when" replies "for a while now" I obviously knew from beginning it was a scam. As soon as I asked for confirmation as to what my IP was he mumbled "oh umm" then hung up on me.

Reporting this to my local police department as I worry someone who is not computer savvy might compromise their personal & financial information.

778-329-0323, called this morning to tell me my computer had serious problems, when i asked the person how they new this they hungup. Calle dhte number it was said to be not listed.

I just got multiple calls from this number, no messages left but called at least 6 times in one hour.

Received this a call from thids number yesterday with the caller being "anonymous"..  I did not answer

This number just called my house saying the are from GE insurance and that they are in the area giving away alarm systems. I told him I have one and then he asked me if it was monitored I told him yes then he asked me by who and I told him "sorry that's private information" and hung up.

I smell scam. my caller id will say "scam" the next time he calls.
